Jack Fruit in Syrup

If you couldn’t find Jerusalem artichokes for J, but just happened to have a can of Green Jackfruit, what would you do with it?

a) Eat the canned green Jackfruit as is

b) Make a Mauritanian dish your children probably won’t go near

c) Try it in a curry your children AND husband probably won’t go near

d) Definitely go with the curry so you don’t have to share

e) The recipe I have left for you in the comments below.

  4. [...] 5. Now that I’ve had quince jam, it’s really time to open the can of green jackfruit. Trying fruits and vegetables that are new to your palate is a healthy way to improve your entire family’s nutrition. (Just don’t do too much too soon.) [...]
