June is Potty Training Awareness Month

I had no clue about this until I came across a post on Inside Fatherhood but apparently June is Potty Training Awareness month.
For me this was already potty training month so this is actually perfect and for those of you that would like to join me here are a few more ideas:
Signs
Look for signs that your baby is ready. These can be anything from your baby taking off the diaper and peeing on the floor or taking an interest when you need to use the toilet.
If you decide to potty train remember it doesn’t happen overnight. You will need patience.
Reward your child when he/she actually uses the potty. My son loves to pee on his potty because of the applause he gets when he does it.
Keep in mind EVERYONE has their own method and you’ll hear from a ton of experts when you announce you are potty training.
