Magic can be a self-esteem booster in kids

Do you remember that feeling of “how’d he do that?” the first time you saw a magic trick? Were you fascinated by how magic tricks were done? Apparently, that’s a universal feeling – we all like to know how things are done and if it’s not obvious, most of us will try to find a way to figure it out.

Scientists have actually done a study on how magic affects children – scientists will study anything! Anyway, they found that children who learned some magic began to feel more confident about themselves and their abilities. This was likely because learning these types of skills can really boost a child’s confidence – and then everything just takes over from there.

Cool stuff!
