The concept of (an adult) consuming breast milk is one laden with taboo. But, in actuality, millions of women and their men (and lesbian women) share such a relationship, often for years and decades. A woman of any age can induce lactation for this purpose; the methods are well documented. Testimony is that adult breast feeding forms the most intimate relationship possible between two human beings. For those couples, their own ice cream would be a humorous extension of their intimacy. But, perhaps even for them, the concept of consuming the milk of an unknown female might be a stretch.

Practically, the idea cannot get off the ground primarily because of the unsurmountable health and sanitation issues, but equally because of the very limited quantity of milk present in even the most productive female compared with a bovine.

PETA gained some animal rights publicity from their statement, to be sure, but hopefully so also did the practice of Adult Nursing Relationships.

They also wanted to change the name “Catskills” (as in, the really famous mountainous region of NY) because it was cruel. (Despite the fact that it’s Dutch and means “Cat’s Creek”.)

Oh, they also wanted to change the name of “Hamburg, NY” because it referred to ground up cows. Um, NOOOOOO, It refers to the thousands-of-years-old area in GERMANY, you ‘tards.

Maybe it’s just the fact that we have always drank cows milk, even though it’s not as good for us as human breast milk would be, but it’s just a strange idea.
