While I was on vacation last year, I wrote a series of posts called Mothering Blogs I Love. Each of the blogs were written by a mother who lives in a country where I have never been. I love travelling, but I realise it isn’t possible to do as much of it as I used to now that I need to buy four tickets instead of just one. Still, the imagination is a remarkable place and bloggers can be the perfect guide.
To keep the spirit of adventure alive, I’ve decided to present Mothering Blogs I Love again this year. Welcome to the first edition of MBIL 2007!

<>I discovered Mama’s Coffee Corner when I entered a contest blogger Linda held in May. Linda is a Swedish work at home mother who lives in Brazil.
What I like about this blog is Linda’s tolerance of her son’s quirks coupled with her worry about how others think she might handle them differently. I go through the same kind of dilemmas three or twenty-six times a day. Another thing that I appreciate about Linda’s blog is her understanding that to blog is to be part of a community and so her blog links and refers to others in a number of ways that make for an interesting contrast of perspectives.

Thank you so much Kate! What a surprise it was to read this!
I also want to say that I did intend to participate in the writing that you told me about, but time flew by and I never had the time. Unfortunately. Are you still doing it? Take care!
Linda- We’re running another contest at the moment

I think we’ll do another writing contest with a cash prize during the week of August 20th.
What a nice idea. Mama bloggers rock hard core. And I can always use another blog to stalk. Thanks for the heads up.
