Normally you hear people talk about baby’s first haircut, well

that happened to Little A earlier this year. Remember how he had such long locks but in a sleeper we’d be asked if he was a girl and how cute she was. We eventually got a high and tight and it slowly started growing out.
It’s summer now and the heat and humidity have been getting to us all. Since he’s the smallest and doesn’t really express his feelings the hubby and I talked tonight and he jokingly said, “I could always shave his head.” I responded, “Yes, do it.” He quickly looked up and with a questioning look replied, “Are you being serious?” I shook my head yes and explained how hot it was.

Immediately we went into the bathroom and got out the razor and began shaving, the whole time he’s asking if I’m sure. Ummm, I think it would be too late now. But I’m happy he’s worried about my reaction. He knows with our first son, now 12, I refused his first shave until he was 3 years old and I was very upset over it because it changed his looks. Little A though, he just looks right with this look and I’m happy for him. He keeps looking in the mirror, puts his hand on his head and smiles, “Awww gon.” (all gone)
When did your baby/son get his first shave?
