Newborn Girl found in Gym Bag

A newborn girl was found wrapped in clothing, inside a gym bag. To me, while it sounds like this baby was unloved she was still wrapped in clothing, which may actually show a bit of sadness on the mother/father’s part. Someone cared enough for the child to still wrap it. However it is still sad she was left. The baby and bag were found on a corner in Long Island and police were quick to arrive when called. The young infant, a newborn girl, was taken to the hospital and given a clean bill of health.
