Newborn Left on Porch Step

A precious newborn baby boy was left on a man’s front step late last night. At first the man thought he heard a nearby baby crying from one of the open windows, but as he continued to hear it he went to investigate only to discover the baby. On his front step was a newborn, still with umbilical (not tied off) and inside a plastic shopping bag crying. He quickly grabbed up the baby and ran to a nearby fire department. The baby is currently doing fine, he was just a little cold, however anything could’ve happened to him.
This is just sick, what mom or dad for that matter wraps their newborn in a trash bag and leaves him/her outside. I do hope they find him a good home, with someone that really loves him.

Inside a plastic bag? Oh my goodness! At least this baby wasn’t flushed down the toilet. Seems I heard that girls could drop their babies off at a hospital with no questions asked. Do you know if that’s still the case?
Yes, you are right, they can drop them off at hospitals, fire departments and police stations. I’ll do more on this later today for you.
That sounds good. Maybe we can help spread the word. We could save a child’s life.
