In a bizarre case of child support someone is found not to be the baby’s father, but it gets stranger than that. In

Marysville Ohio a woman, Marie Davis, gave birth, however it would not be her name as mother on the birth certificate.

This other woman, Coriene Cooper, was the name on the birth certificate and would raise the child. That is until she would try suing John R. Knasel for child support after they split. But he knew the truth and while they raised the child together he knew the child was not only not his but not her child either. Should he pay support? Why or why not?

The case is now in court, so far Knasel plead not guilty, Coriene Cooper plead not guilty and Marie Davis has plead not guilty. Marie Davis, aka Marie Godwin is being charged for Medicaid fraud and tampering with records. Coriene Cooper, aka Coriene Ilse is being charged with Medicaid fraud, grant theft and 8 counts of tampering. Finally, Knasel is being charged with one count of tampering.

But now lets talk about that baby that has grown up and is now 16-years-old. Cheyenne Knasel probably has known since he was around 10 that his mother wasn’t really his mom and the story behind why the switch happened. By reading what he’s said to the press it sounds like he has a good heart and doesn’t fault either mother.

“My mom Coriene, was helping Marie out by helping take care of me when she couldn’t do it. And in my eyes, that’s not wrong. It’s like helping a friend,” Cheyenne said.

No news on what will happen with either lady or Knasel.

A mail carrier in Ohio was doing his usual route when suddenly he stopped at a house he normally just passed by.

The baby girl looked healthy despite being covered with blood and her own waste, Herron said. Her umbilical cord was still attached. She has pale skin and black hair and weighs about 7 pounds.

Currently the baby girl is being called, “Baby Samantha” and she’s doing just fine. However, had this mailman not noticed her she could’ve had a different outcome. The police are searching for relatives of this baby girl, but so far no word if that has happened. It has been stated that if they do not find anyone she will go into foster care.

As for what the mailman has to say to these parents:

“I wish whoever this baby belonged to would have dropped it off at a hospital or to a fire department because the baby was in the direct sun and who knows how long she’d been there,“ Herron said.

I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I read the following story. (it happened at the beginning of the month) I mean

Well they weren’t exactly hurrying to get to the hospital. They stopped off to collect their winnings. How much did they win? $250,000. No they may not be rich but they sure can afford some new baby clothes and diapers for a while. I guess this baby wanted some expensive onesies and made sure to wait just long enough for mom and dad to pick up that money.

So if you would’ve found out that you had just won a huge chunk of change from the lottery and went into labor, what would you have done? Now, just how lucky are you? Congrats to the happy couple who, at least for a while, does not have any big finances to worry about.

wearing her wedding ring, now this isn’t weird at all since many times women love to keep their bands regardless. (hey a woman loves her diamonds) However it seems to be Jon giving people questions now, on Friday he was spotted actually not wearing his wedding ring. Course she did tell People Magazine in an interview that taking off her wedding ring would upset the children too much, so she could be keeping it on for them. But isn’t that false hope if they are headed for divorce?

Oh wait, if you look close enough in this picture at Just Jared, you’ll notice he is actually wearing his band but not on his left hand. That’s right, Jon has the wedding ring off the marriage hand and on the other.

When should one take their wedding rings off their hand? Before or after the divorce?

I just got done reading a story that spun interest to me and my husband but also many questions. Have ya’ll heard of

Brooke may hold the answer to the fountain of youth some say, others aren’t so sure. Some wonder if she’ll contineu to age and just look like a baby, if she’ll out live her family members, etc. Either way, the family of Brooke are just curious as to what has caused her to stop aging/growing but state they love her and wouldn’t change anything about her. At a young age they noticed she stopped growing and even today she looks as if she were a toddler but is actually 16 years old. The family tries giving her a normal life and even have her enrolled in the public school system. However they have no clue what she is actually comprehending.

Brooke does not walk or talk, she does use her arms to scoot as you can see in the video below (this was from 2005). The doctors have done several tests on her to try to figure out what is wrong, but still no answers.

Her paediatrician, Dr Lawrence Pakula says:

She still has baby teeth and her bone age is estimated to be that of a 10-year-old, but she’s never been diagnosed with a known genetic syndrome or chromosomal abnormality.

Her mother states she acts just like a teen:

“She loves to shop…just like a woman.” When they do hit the stores – with Brooke in a stroller - other mothers will stop and ask how old Brooke is. Stating the fact that she is sixteen would be startling and would take a whole lot of explanation so her mum says, “my system has been to turn year into months. So, if someone asked today, I might say, she’s 16 months old.”

Before you begin thinking this is probably just something genetic, she has two older sisters and a younger one. Her other three sisters are all aging and growing perfectly normal, she’s the only one that has stayed small. She’s been through numerous surgeries and at least 4 close calls, but each time her parents state that she’s pulled through even stronger than the last. Hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with Brooke, but in the meantime she definitely has a family that loves her dispite any hardships they’ve all been through. I’m sure she’s been through a lot during her childhood with all those hospital trips and testing. Any thoughts?

We all saw what we figured we would on the last airing of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 Show this week, that they’d announce a divorce. Now that they’ve announced the

Here’s what Kate told People magazine:

“On a good day, I feel relief,” Kate says, curled up in a chair in her living room. “On a bad day, I feel failure.”

Kate told them this on the day the kids were happily making Father’s Day Cards for Jon and drawing hearts all over them. Kate would not seen at the house on Father’s Day by the press.  Here’s what she actually said during the show:

“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” Kate Gosselin said. “While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself.”

Now it wouldn’t be fair to print what Kate said and not Jon, here’s his response according to the:

“I was hurt by the statement Kate made last night about the divorce.

I have always done everything I can to protect our family.  This weekend, I was home with the kids for four days, just being a dad. No nannies, just the kids and me. In fact, with the exception of Aaden’s visit to the doctor, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to spend Father’s Day weekend.”

Does anyone know what his weekend activities were? If she was meaning Father’s Day I thought he was with them? Even the media has pictures of them all together.  Maybe it was over Aaden getting hurt, not sure. Either way it looks as if this is about to become the world’s biggest news story.

Many rumors have flown around the net today over the whole Jon & Kate Plus 8 announcement last night. For

One of the boxes from what the Associated Press reported was the one saying they have lived separate and apart for at least 2 years. Now of course if this were true it would mean the couple haven’t really been together like the show has aired. Or it could mean they have been apart and just in different rooms of the house, ie Kate in the room and Jon on the couch or playroom. We know he also stayed with his mom for a bit, not sure how long that was.

Course TLC has made a statement in regards to this denying the whole thing stating that the documents were misleading. I mean they wouldn’t want to lie to everyone either. I bet if they were lied to during the taping this might be grounds for a lawsuit on the Gosselin’s part.

TMZ.com has posted what they believe was misunderstood:

We now know what Kate checked on the divorce papers, which are confidential. There are two grounds for a no fault divorce in Pennsylvania — the first is waiting 90 days after the papers have been served. Then, if both Jon and Kate agree the marriage is “irretrievably broken” … the divorce can proceed.

And there’s a second option — that they have lived separate and apart for 2 years. But that doesn’t mean they have been separated for that long. It means she must wait 2 years from the moment she considered the marriage kaput and began living separately (if only in different bedrooms). We’re told the real separation between Jon and Kate is very recent and Kate checked the box just to get the clock ticking.

It does seem strange but since everything is sealed I’m guessing they don’t want anyone knowing what really went on and what’s what. TMZ did go on to state she checked both because she wasn’t sure if Jon thought the marriage could be saved or not. Was Jon having second thoughts? I’m not sure but there have been pics of Kate today at a gas station wearing her wedding ring. I doubt this means much though, women love their jewelry.

One more thing, it was announced today by TLC that the show will be on a hiatus for at least a month.

It’s official, I’m not sure if they’ve announced it on the show just yet but the BIG announcement the world has been talking about for the Jon & Kate Plus 8 show for tonight will be…….They are getting a DIVORCE. Even if that isn’t what they chat about they just filed (both of them) papers.

People Magazine is reporting:

Documents to initiate a legal split were filed at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Penn., on Monday afternoon.

TMZ also got wind of this:

There are reports claiming Jon is planning on moving to New York to live. Sources say he is considering moving into Trump Place.

No news on who will get the kids, but I think Kate will get the whole bunch and Jon will get them on weekends and special holidays. Not sure how they’ll work the show in. I know over the weekend there was no sight of Kate Gosselin at the family home and when someone (press) asked where Kate was all Jon said was he had no clue. Course maybe she was getting him back for ditching her on her birthday for another woman.

Did ya’ll see this coming? I did with the way she treated him and then when he cheated on her and then when we heard she was with her bodyguard. No telling but everyone seemed to be unhappy. My heart goes out to the kids, not Jon & Kate as they walked right into this and knew it. But now the kisd will be facing not only the media that wants those shots but of course their own reality show that mommy made them do. Isn’t there any for them to stay out of the shows if they don’t want it? I doubt they even know if they want it or not, I think that’s what Aunt Jody was saying all along. The poor kids. I guess we’ll all watch as their lives unfold before our eyes, I’m so thankful that I no longer have tv.

Officers found a missing 3 week old baby late Saturday night, the baby went missing on Friday. Apparently the mother was

The police found the newborn in downtown Oklahoma City, it was taken from the southern part of Oklahoma City. The two men are in custody, as is one woman. The baby is in good condition. No word on how the mom is.
