Part Six: The Generous December Group Writing Project

It’s been a slow week for the Generous December Group Writing Project, but there are enough entries to update and add to those described in parts one, two, three, four, and five.

The fabulous Tracee Sioux of Blog Fabulous has wonderful things to say about the gift of time.

Writer and editor Lillie Ammann would like to see chaplains in the US military get some support this year.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Summer at Wired for Noise came out in support of the social change organization Resist that was founded to resist the draft.

In the comments section, my friend Julie applauded MSF for their efforts in Uganda.

Bellevelma at Running With Books writes passionately about a support system for families where severe allergic responses are a very serious problem.

Elizabeth has joined the World Vision fan club. That’s two entries for this global charity.

CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, really stands for Crazy About Kids. That’s what Nancy who writes for Child Person From the South tells us.

Liberal Out of Water has found a comprehensive support system for families fleeing domestic violence.

Back at Generous December Group Writing Project HQ, I’ve been combining altruistic pursuits with asking for votes in week five of Project Blog. I know, this is a selfish plug in an otherwise selfless post, but pretty please?
