Postcards Delivered By Karootza and Magarey

August 29, 2007 by kate baggott

Where I spend my summer vacations, news is spread among villagers by donkey cart. The karootza is the cart, the magarey is the donkey (a little Bulgarian always comes in handy, trust me). Entries in the Family Vacation Group Writing Project have been coming in by karootza and magarey. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Its a time-honored method. It might be slow, but it’s reliable.

In fact, there couldn’t be a better way to introduce entry #7. Tiffany’s post at Nature Mom’s blog is about her family’s visit to Amish country in Ohio.
