Potty Training Giveaway

How many are you going or are about to go through the potty training stage? I have four kids so I know that this is

IMG: Pull-Ups

IMG: Pull-Ups

one of those very trying stages and by trying I mean everything, stress and trying everything. Well, Pull-Ups understands those trials and they know we have our ups and downs moments and would like to help. How will they help you? Simple, they are not only doing this giveaway but they’ve created a reality video clip of 6 families going through the potty training stage.

Each of these families have gone through a different method, I have tried each but with Little A I did attempt the way Isa did it. Course he isn’t trained yet but I’m definitely going to try once again as I think he’s wanting to now, he does sit on his potty every day just to watch tv.

Now for the GIVEAWAY:

IMG: Pull-Ups

Prize: The kit contains a package of Pull-Ups, a copy of Pull-Ups PTP Member Jen Singer’s new book, “Stop Second Guessing Yourself: The Toddler Years,” and other potty training resources. Oh the winner gets to pick pink or blue.

RULES: Head on over to the Potty Project and tell me which family sounds more like yours? Oh and one thing you are or have tried doing.

I think we’re kind of laid back like Lyon’s family. I haven’t tried anything with this child, but with my first one we gave rewards for going in the potty.

  2. Jennifer V says:

We’re like Ryan’s family. My son will go when we put him on the potty. We tried a potty chart and some prizes. I just bought big boy undperpants yesterday. I think we just need to go “cold turkey” but I need to take some time off work to try it out.

  3. MRS.MOMMYY says:

brandon sounds like one of ours- we have had early potty goers and late- best thing – ok we have tried a potty in every major room and that sota helps with the last one- sit and go- I know gross but it worked before pink

  4. Annette Anderson says:

Sophie sounds like my grandchild and I am like the grandmother in her story. I sometimes forget that I am only the grandmother and my daughter is the one in charge. I only do the things out of love and because I feel I have been down this road before . Potty training was a easy time in my home. I have a 8 mth. old grandson whom we will be crossing this feat with in about a year. Thanks!

  5. Noreen says:

my oldest sounded like ryan and my youngest is a bit like lyon
I tried one m&m for trying 2 if she went.

  6. hallie says:

i just love Isa! My little one is heading quickly toward potty training and I am nervous! I need all the help I can get, the Potty Project is a great resource!

  7. Letessha says:

Alexa seems to be doing things similar to my daughter. She will go anywhere else except the potty!

  8. scarlette says:

I do not have kids, but I checked out the site. My nephew is potty training and just turned 3.

  9. Emily R. says:

Ryan’s family sounds most like ours. We are using pictures to help our son communicate that he needs to potty & to show him he needs to pull down pants, underwear, wash hands, flush, ext.

  10. Carol says:

My sons were more like Ryan and his family, my daughters seem to similar to Alexa, and we always used lavish praise and often a cookie reward.

  11. andra says:

my son is more like isa and is very intergetic and hard to keep in 1 place 4 long

  12. Kate says:

Brandon is a lot like my oldest son. He was 3 and a 1/2 before he would even begin to entertain the idea of potty training. He has it almost down now – just wears nighttime pull ups, but his little brother who just turned 2 is eager to start. I am going to start full on training for him in August when his big brother starts preschool

  13. kristi blackstone says:

Isa sounds like my situation! I’m currently potty training my son and needs tips!

  14. Autumn B. says:

  15. Carol P says:

My granddaughter is going to be potty training! Alexa is is cute! I’m afraid we will have similar problems!

  16. charline says:

we are like the Lyon’s family.
We are using the rewards things right now.

  17. Katherine Frazier says:

Brandon’s family is the most like ours. We are working on letting our little one know that it is time to grow up and be ready for school and that it is a very good thing to be potty trained.

  18. Angela C says:

Our family sounds like Isa’s family. My two year old ALWAYS wants to go potty, and I keep telling her “are you sure…maybe we need to wait a little longer”. ha ha ha! She is my baby you know…so I need to keep her that way! LOL!

When my son was getting potty trained we tried everything, we bought all different types of potty’s…the one that goes on the big potty, the elmo potty that sits on the floor…etc. Now we are the dumping ground for potty’s!! (No pun intended) LOL!

  19. Colleen says:

I’m pretty sure I have an Isa. We are trying to slow her down enough to get to the potty!

  20. Monique Rizzo says:

Currently Potty Training! It is HARD. Thanks for the chance.

  21. Stephanie Grant says:

I think our family is most like Lyon! I have just started to potty train my son and when he needs to potty I’m trying to get him to do the potty dance so I know when to take him.

  22. icefairy says:

We’re more like Ryan’s family. My son is interested in the potty and would cooperate when we put him there. We’ll all clap hands and cheer when he goes.

  23. Paula H says:

We are most like Ryan’s family. My son tells me he has to go at the moment he needs to go. It’s hard to get him to the bathroom in time.

I’ve been trying candy rewards like a jelly bean or skittle for when he does have a success.

  24. Rudella Custer says:

Definitely Lyon’s family. Sam is not quite two and definitely shows interest in using the potty, I just need to get work in some consistency and get the ball rolling!

  25. Cindy says:

Lyon sounds like my daughter she is showing signs but I am very confused on how to proceed. I work during the day and it makes it very difficult for me.

  26. Angie Gerstein says:

I will be starting to potty train my second daughter in the next few months. When I worked with my oldest daughter, I was probably a bit of all 6 families. I would gladly have paid someone a million dollars to help. She would go from being interested to going in her pants. My mother-in-law didn’t help with all the “your husband was potty trained when he was a year old. how long are you going to wait?” comments. I felt pressured, but in the end I finally relaxed and let her guide me. She got it and she was potty trained before preschool. My second daughter is a bit stubborn so I’m not sure what I’ll do about her. But I’m not looking forward to another potty training experience!

  27. Erma says:

The Ryan’s family sounds like ours for sure.

  28. Heather M says:

I would say Lyon’s family! My daughter will go when she wants to (She’s only gone twice) She’s stubborn. Just turned 2 though so We still have a bit of time left. But not much! I want to get this ball rolling! Thanks

  29. Kate says:

Our family is more like Lyon’s family. I feel Aiden just needs more encouragement. Time, time time :)

  30. shawna says:

    Alexa sounds like my daughter!

  31. ali b says:

We are most like the Ryan family. We’ve used rewards, charts, reminders, anything that’ll work.

  32. Our family is most like Brandon. One thing we are trying right now is giving an M&M whenever we go. Bribery works. Oh, and our next one to be trained is a girl, so we would be choosing pink. Thank you for having this giveaway.

  33. Sheila R says:

My son sounds like Ryan. He has just started potty training. He took off his diaper and peed on the floor when I was putting his potty together. I have tried talking to him about the potty. I have a few special toys for him when he progesses. I would choose BLUE.

  34. Gianna says:

    Lyon’s family :)

  35. Brittany Rebello says:

Sophie’s family sounds like my daughter I have been trying pottie stickers but I think little Emma could still use some help ;) I love her to death but herbeing potty trained would help mommy alot. I would choose pink.

  36. I think we’re most like Lyon’s family. We haven’t tried anything yet but we’re almost there!

  37. SECRET BURKHEISER says:

I think we are most like the Isa video. I have attempted to start about 5 times and gave up each time. She only pottied in the potty once. MY mom comes over or calls me every day and is always telling me that she is ready and I just need to stick with it!
I tried to give rewards of stickers or M&M’s.

  38. Molly Capel says:

I think we identify most with Ryan’s family.

  39. Elizabeth Watts says:

Our situation definately reflects that of Alexa and her family…if closely to any, as there are differences in each case. What we have done is begun a star chart as a reward for going potty and accomplishing this task on the potty chair…

  40. Kristyn Martin says:

Our family most resembles Lyon’s family. My son shows some interest in potty training, but we need to work on consistency. Thanks for the chance!

  41. DanV says:

We are a little like Ryan’s family and have been trying a reward system of stickers and treats.

  42. Jane Hoh says:

We have already had 2 children, so the Lyon family is probably the closest. Eventually, the day will come. Thanks fo the opportunity to win.

  43. shar says:

um, we are like Alexa in that my sweetie will not use the potty right now…she’s all over the place, LOL

  44. Suanne Giddings says:

We are a combination of Isa and Sophie. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this useful giveaway!

  45. Cassandra says:

We are more like Sophie and her family. We try playing games and offering rewards and various treats. We even have a fun cartoon to watch that gets her psyched up.

We are definitely like Ryan’s family. And since my son’s name is Ryan, that’s funny!
    cmflan122@gmail.com

  49. Elizabeth Ray says:

I’m entering for a frined, whose little girl will probably be ready to start training soon. So none of the families “fit” yet.” Hopefully, training will go smoothly for them. Of course, if I win this kit for them, that could help the process!

  50. Renee We says:

Well here I go again potty training another 3 year old. He is the youngest of the family and thinks it’s too much to expect of him.
