Pregnant Robot Gives Birth

You knew technology was advancing but did you realize it could actually give birth now? There’s actually a pregnant robot that gives birth. The robot’s name is Noelle and she’s currently at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Vallejo, California. What’s she doing down there? Well, she’s extremely pregnant and giving birth every day. (geez that’s a woman’s worst nightmare to give birth every single day)
Noelle is the first birthing simulator that medical schools and hospitals will be able to actually use. It’s the perfect person to experiment and practice on. I mean how many of us want the doctor fresh out of med school to deliver our baby?
When I gave birth to my fourth child I had a doctor fresh out of school that told me he wanted to try an experimental drug on me to induce labor. Umm, yeah the words experiment and fresh out of school didn’t go over very well. Go practice on someone else! After delivery I had a girl that had never done stitches and thought it would be cool to give me some extra cosmetic surgery down below. Umm, who cares? Not me, go zip up someone else. I took it in stride though as I felt the rip and pull and as she leaned on my bed I fretted she’d slip and yank the needle too far.
I’m totally for these especially if it means no accidents and that doctors can practice until they have a real patient. After all if they hurt the robot its only a robot, if they hurt a person it could be life threatening.
The robot has already been traveling the globe giving birth in different locations. She’s been throughout California and even went as far as Afganistan. She’s a full bodied, pregnant, blond mannequin. I have no clue if she screams out or not. Can you picture if Noelle screams in pain as she pushes or yells at those in the room? hehe.
There are actually two different types of Noelle, one can use the basic version for $3200 or the $20,000 more advanced version that actually has a baby come out of her. The more advanced one can give live births with complications to put the hospital staff on their toes. A breach baby, cervix that doesn’t dilate, long labor or short labor, etc. I am loving this technology. What’s your take on it all?

Now if only they could figure out how a robot can go through the pregnancy for you and give birth…LOL…actually that wouldn’t be fun at all. BUt it’s cool that doctor’s can practice on a robot!
as a expecting mother I think that is very interesting haha
