Results of Your Experiments

As you may know, I have a history of experimenting on myself. You will also know that I hate using disposable diapers…just not enough to use cloth instead.
Since, this time an experiment could be messy, I thought I would try to benefit from your experience. You know the inserts that go inside cloth diapers to soak up the real mess, but reduce the amount of disposable material by about 75%? Have any of you ever tried putting them inside you toddlers’ quilted training pants?If so, what were the results? I would really like to try it, but why waste the inserts and/or destroy the carpets if it’s just madness.
