The midwife and doctor had to convince me. I must have been blinded by love because when I look at pictures of that period now, I am amazed that I didn&#8217;t see it at all. 		<description>My son was hospitalized for two nights after surgery to fix &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.homewiththekids.com/family/scaphocephaly.htm&quot;&gt;craniosynostosis. I brought along books to read and one of my sisters loaned me her PDA so I could play the games on it. It really helped the time to pass.

Oh, and Children&#039;s Hospital in our area has electronic massage chairs in the cafeteria. They were well worth the price!&lt;/a&gt;

I also found it helpful to be willing to sleep at the drop of a hat. Hospitals must be the most unrestful places on the planet!</description>
