A hospital known for treating kids that are sick or that have cancer has delivered the very first baby in over 157 years. At Great Ormond Street children’s hospital the staff had to be quick on their feet when Nicola Tyler went into labor. Nicola had been visiting her 6-year-old daughter, Kelly, who has Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
As we all know, babies don’t care where you are when they want to be born. A newborn will make a mom deliver on the side of the road, at home, in a store, at a gas station, on a plane or at a hospital. …read more

OUCH! Is the first thing that comes to mind when I read a woman had just given birth this morning to a 13 pound baby
girl.
While this is a great thing I can’t even picture carrying a baby of that size. Thankfully she delivered by caesarean and not vaginally.
The pride and joy’s name is Chelsea Rose Mackay and she was 13.8 lbs, another baby in the hospital was born weighing less than 2lbs. Talk about a difference, in the article written by Fox News they have a side by side comparison, Chelsea looks as if she’s 6 months old.

She was only planning on catching the subway but this New York conductor ended up having to do much more than that.he got to help deliver a baby. As she waited to board a train another woman ended up going into labor right there. (Hey, babies have their own time and place and this one wanted it to be a memory to share with everyone)
The delivery only took seven whole minutes, she said she was able to assist due to having two children of her own. Thank goodness this woman was nearby right? The baby girl came right out too, …read more

One little boy didn’t want to wait for his momma to make it to the hospital, let alone for the doctors to get to her. Patricia Salas had to pull over on the side of I-80 when her newborn
decided he was coming before she’d ever make it to the hospitall. Now this little guy couldn’t have waited until just after everyone had gone to work, he waited just before so mom would have to deal with Rush Hour traffic in the morning.
Quickly she called for help, but at 7:30 a.m. when firefighters got there it was too late, Patricia with …read more

There’s a mini baby boom happening in New York City, within a 48 hour time period 74 babies were born at the
New York City Hospital in Brooklyn. No one knows what’s caused this boom, maybe it’s the weather or maybe it is just the closest hospital. It might even be the fact that two local hospitals had to close its doors.

Actually just sometime yesterday and early this morning the little eggs hatched. Don’t worry I did not touch the precious birds, but I was able to get a quick picture. The kids have been looking at the picture all morning.
Right now there isn’t even noise coming from them, it’s as if they just came out of their little eggs. However, looking at the picture there doesn’t seem to be any eggs. Did momma bird …read more
