The Ohio Zoo requested all zoo visitors to help name their baby elephant and they did.  I wrote about this a few weeks back and thought it was a cute little story and the fact they were allowing the visitors to actually name the new little elephant was even better. The names have been added up and a winner was decided.

The Ohio Zoo recently had a baby elephant born, the only problem is they couldn’t determine a name. They opened it up to the public and have narrowed it down to four names but they need YOUR vote. Here are the names:
- Beco
- Damai
- Sattva
- Siddharth
Go to Columbus Zoo to vote and come back here and tell me which one you are rooting for. I’m going for Beco because it is one that reminds me of a sweet candy and my kids would be able to pronounce it easier. Not to mention Baby Beco just goes together. The winning name …read more
