It’s Friday again and what an amazing week we had here. For my little family it was more low-key then anything but last weekend was great. As some of you read, Little A got his first hair cut. Talk about a change.
So since it is Friday and this is open chat feel free to talk about anything. What movie you want to see or have seen. I also have a poll in the right hand side of Babylune for Do you think OctoMom will resort to porn.

Remember that post I wrote about last week on baby bottles containing bisphenal and causes all types of terrible things to happen to kids such as cancer, obesity and more? Well Toys’R'Us is responding to the dozens (I’m sure) of emails they’ve got about the bottles and what they’ll be doing about it.

According to the http://blog.washingtonpost.com/thecheckout/2008/04/update_toys_r_us_to_pull_bottl.html?nav=rss_blog”>Washington Post Toys’R'Us told them the following:

Toys”R”Us, Inc. is committed to the safety of all its customers and is vigilant about staying current with emerging scientific and other thinking about ingredients in products sold in its stores.

While the FDA has not changed its position on the safety of products made with Bisphenol-A (BPA), in light of growing consumer concerns on this topic, the company has been working with manufacturers to phase out all baby bottles and other baby feeding products containing BPA in its Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us stores nationwide. This process is ongoing and is expected to be completed before the end of 2008.

What does this mean? For starters it looks as if they’ll be taking all bottles that are in question off their shelves and replacing it with new bottles that don’t have the Bisphenol. But it might take until Christmas before they can do this, so in the meantime you might want to be careful when you shop for baby utensils or bottles.
