I thought we could get a bit inspired by the celebrity breastfeeding moms and what they had to say about breastfeeding. What are you thoughts on the subject? I have always felt a closeness when my child was breastfeeding and once they gave it up it meant they were in that next phase of life. Always a sad and happy moment for me.
Celebrities:
Gwyneth Paltrow- “I’m not in my pre-pregnancy state. I’m trying not to rush myself. I want my food to be high quality as I’m feeding Apple. I’m not into dieting.

Now I’m able to exercise, I’m shrinking back down a little bit. It’s a very slow process.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones- “I’m going to do it as long as I can . . .there is something so intimate about it. For that one hour or 45 minutes it’s just wonderful. It’s wonderful bonding and you know they’re getting all those antibodies.”

Tammy Etheridge- In an interview with Joan Rivers, Joan asked Tammy how she lost weight, if it was dieting. “No, I’m breastfeeding, I don’t have to do anything else.”

Nancy O’Dell- Told People Magazine,”Breastfeeding is the best diet. I want to eat healthy for her, so it’s easy to say no to pizza.”

Jodie Foster- Quote from Daily News, “I just couldn’t stop losing weight with the breastfeeding. I ate as much as I possibly could, but I kept losing. You’ll see why when you meet Charlie.”

Maggie Gyllenhaal- She even went to a public park in New York City, sat on a bench and breastfed her daughter.

Tori Spelling- “Yes. It’s hard, but I love it. That’s our time together, and I can give him the one thing he wants: food. Dean took a photo of me nursing, and I was horrified. I was like, “Oh, this poor baby must be so scared of this giant thing coming at him.

Jessica Alba- While she isn’t a mommy quite yet, she does plan on breastfeeding. In an interview with Extra! she said, “It had to do with breastfeeding which is the only thing I’m paranoid about. More than giving birth.”

Katie Holmes- While I don’t remember Katie ever commenting on the topic, she was spotted once wearing a nursing bra that was unhooked in the front.

Nicole Richie- Quote from People Magazine. “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive,” says the new mom, 26. “I eat really bland food – chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”

Maxi-Cosi:
Elizabeth Hasslebeck’s son, Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck, uses Maxi-Cosi Mico whenever they go out for a drive. Believe it or not, Taylor was one of the first children in the United States to ride in one of these.

Maxi-Cosi:

Elizabeth Hasslebeck’s son, Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck, uses Maxi-Cosi Mico whenever they go out for a drive. Believe it or not, Taylor was one of the first children in the United States to ride in one of these.

Graco:

Salma Hayek received a Graco Snug Ride car seat at her baby shower, she gave birth to a little girl named, Valentina Paloma, in 2007. Matt Damon always makes sure his precious Isabella is in a car seat, I’m not sure what he always uses but as an infant they used the Graco Snugride in Family Tree.

 Britax:

Britney Spears purchased a Britax car seat after getting nailed with putting her baby in her lap while driving. This is NOT something mothers should do, always place your baby in the proper car seat for their age/size. There’s currently a big sale on Britax Marathon right now.
