After lots of false labor in the heat of summer, Kelly at Thrifty Mommy has just given birth to her second child, a son.
I would like to ask 20 000 of you to head over to her site so she can buy a frugally-priced baby present for the little child inofficially from me
By the way, I left a comment on Kelly’s blog that I would like to repeat here for anyone who needs to see it:
The tough thing about labor is that Mom really is in the driver’s seat. She just doesn’t have a brake or an accelerator.
A Visualization for the Overdue Pregnant Woman

A friend of mine sounds like she has been in transition for more than 24 hours. That is very, very strange, but the female body can do many stranger things, many more wonderful things.
I am thinking about everything I have ever read about birth and pregnancy and the only thing I can suggest is visualization. I wrote her this message and thought, “somewhere, there is another woman who needs this too.”
