Currently the baby girl is being called, “Baby Samantha” and she’s doing just fine. However, had this mailman not noticed her she could’ve had a different outcome. The police are searching for relatives of this baby girl, but so far no word if that has happened. It has been stated that if they do not find anyone she will go into foster care.

As for what the mailman has to say to these parents:

“I wish whoever this baby belonged to would have dropped it off at a hospital or to a fire department because the baby was in the direct sun and who knows how long she’d been there,“ Herron said.

On Monday afternoon a mail carrier spotted an open window and it’s a good thing she did. There was a baby in the window above the front door where she was delivering mail, the next thing she knew is there was a baby in her arms. The mother had the baby on a bed beside the window, turned her back and the baby went exploring. When she realized what must’ve happened she ran out front to be greeted by her infant daughter. The baby is reportedly without any injuries, thanks to a special delivery person.
