Did You Ever have Pains Years After Childbirth?

I was asked today if I’d ever experienced pains or horrible cramping during my period after giving birth. I have from time to time but not like this mom of two talks about.
Facts: She’s had two children, last one 3 years ago. She has a regular cycle and her pap smear came back fine.
I’m experiencing horrible camping when it is “that time of the month” and if I bends or squat it feels like I’m still healing down there. The other night I had to hold a heating pad to my stomach to stop the pain.

I think I gave it all I had.
Tolerance for pain I mean.
The second baby was born quickly, without any kind of pain medication. It was intense, but I lived. And as much as I would like to claim I am an amazon warrior princess, I cannot.
Ever since the birth, I’ve become a real wimp. Ever little ache and pain sends me in search of my Ibuprofin or other kind of pain relief (although I’d never take a tablet containing codeine, like Tylenol 3) whereas before, I never took anything for a headache but a glass of water and a nap.
