IMG: Sxc.hu

There are also 10 things no parent wants to hear, follow along and let me know your 2 things you never want to hear.

10 Things Parents of Newborns Don’t Want to Hear

- Your baby looks funny
- What’s wrong with your baby?
- Your baby doesn’t look like you at all.
- That the baby has colic
- That they will never sleep again
- That sex is gone, never to happen again.
- That you hope their child is just like they were.
- Your baby has no hair.
- That’s not the way to do it.
- I’m going to be here every day.

Yes, while these may seem harmless to you they may not be to the parent. I mean who wants to hear their child looks funny or doesn’t even look like them. Men especially hate to hear the child doesn’t look like them, sometimes they begin to wonder themselves once this is pointed out. Finally, while you may love the baby to death the parents aren’t going to want you there every second of the day, not even if your grandparents. Be sure of what they are wanting and how they are feeling before you make any comments.

This week on Babylune I discussed the “On the Go” bag and ways to simplify leaving the house without so much stress. Don’t forget to stop by and check out all the neat daddy diaper bags out there.

How hot is Your Man? Does ya let ya have a few hours off duty? Treat ya to a spa? Let Gayla over at SuperNanny know and read this entry for more details.

With celebrities constantly grabbing up kids from other countries and normal folks really trying to adopt for infertile reasons. What’s your take on it all? Is it too easy for celebrities to adopt and is it too hard or too long for regular folks? Read what Marcie has to say about Adoption, Infertility, Baby stealing and the need for reform.

DebNG over at Simply Thrifty is showing you had to make all those old baby toys be made into dog toys. So, all those toys you are buying for your new baby can later be used and you save money.

By now you probably have a ton of teddy bears around you. Why not celebrate today, it’s Teddy Bear Day! Read all the facts about it on All Holiday Cafe.

For a little inspiration, head on over to PlayLibrary and read what one little girl is doing with her life. Not only is she the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, but she’s a tv star and now she’s releasing a new toy line.

Parents Behaving Badly has discovered all types of horrible things parents do to their new babies. It’s just awful, from beating and killing a 6-month-old baby, one that tries circumsizing his own baby boy to a very sad case of mother and father charged with murder for co-sleeping.

This weekend, hug your babies tight and let them know you love them. Try and give yourself a 30 minute time off and relax in a nice hot bubble bath. Maybe even grab a book or two for some enjoyment.
