The “Pay Attention to Me!” Challenge

I think about money a lot more now that I work outside the home. Time is money and I don’t think I am being paid properly for my time. Then again, I felt the same way when I earned three times as much.
Today, while on my coffee break at work, I saw a picture of a pen that cost 12,000 Pounds Sterling (not exactly as pictured, but a $250 pen and a $25,000 pen look alike to me). That is about $25,000 US.

And that, my friends, is as true for you as it is for celebrity mothers like Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie.
Now, forget about the paparazzi-hounded for a while and pay attention to me instead.
According to the search engine results, I am the only postpartum blogger who actually writes about the more embarassing side-effects (or is that end-effects?) of giving birth.
So, …read more

New mothers are made every day (Hi Kris! Hi new baby Bodhi!). So, once a month or so I like to give the women who are just discovering Babylune an overview of what’s here.
If you’re in the middle of one of the many fantastic post partum mysteries of the human body, click on The Long List of Discomforts. Within the posts are links to posts that deal with common problems in the first days after giving birth.
You can also go to The First Six Weeks Category Archive to get an overview of what to expect in the first phase of …read more
