Six weeks after you give birth is time to have an appointment with your gynecologist or mid-wife to ensure you are healing properly. It’s also important for you to check in with yourself and take stock of how you feel.
Take a look at the Long List of Discomforts (where we deal with everything from abdominal amnesia to weight gain) and think about any lingering problems there may be.

One amazing question has run through my mind since my second child was born:
How on earth did my grandparents handle 10 kids?
