Taking Stock

<>Looking back over The Long List of Discomforts that I wrote a month after giving birth, I am amazed at how much I have recovered from. The female body truly is a remarkable thing.

The rash I thought would never go away is gone. The excessive sweating from shedding the fluid gained over the course of pregnancy has stopped.

All I am really still dealing with is the lack of sleep issue, but I don’t think that ever goes away. There’s still a dull ache in my hips and a constant back ache from bad posture when carrying the baby and nursing. That, and a few extra pounds that I still have to work off.

But, other than those little things, I am fine. How are you feeling?
