Teen Birthrate Back up in California

The first time in 15 years the teen birth rate is going back up. What’s going on California, you were doing so well. The PHI released this week that the birth rate for teens was increasing instead of decreasing for the first time, costing California tax payers over $29million. Talk about a hefty bill.
They state they have a long way to go to stop teen births. Course without a lock on every teen there is no way of really stopping it. How do you recommend reducing the rate of teens that get pregnant every year? Do you think this is something we should focus more on? Or is this something that is over-dramatized?

I, for one, am a teen mother. I think im alot better mother than alot of older people i see. My child was planned and i hate the fact people think she was an accident. My mothering abilities have nothing to do with my age. I have been with my fiancee since i was 13 and we have tried for a baby for a long time and i am proud to say we have one and will be trying for another very soon. So please do not keep judging young girls abilities by their age, judge them on their true ability.
I recommend gathering up and burning all copies of the movie Juno. Maybe then teens would go back to just having kids as an accident instead of to be “cool” and fashionable.
