The Most Embarassing Thing

The baby did not appear to miss me at all when I went to work yesterday.
Until she decided to nurse three times in the night. My body must think it has a newborn again because I am producing even more. Today, I leaked. Two little damp circles right in front of my nipples. I had to stuff my bra with paper towels (talk about uncomfortable) from the washroom and flap my shirt in front of me to help it dry a little more quickly.
I have never been so happy to get home and nurse in my life! Luckily, the baby refused to take a bottle all day long.
I know I have some breast pads somewhere, I just have to go digging through my some of all of our closets.

I can relate to the stuffing of toilet paper or what ever else is available. I found that cutting maxipads works really well when you can’t find a nursing pad or who cares just stick a couple to your boobs.
Wow… does that bring back some memories. There were times I thought that I would burst! It’s funny the things that stick in our brain!
MF- I eyed the pad dispenser. I will never be without spare change again.
SP- I don’t think I will ever forget that particular sensation.
Yes, you bring back the memories! I was suddenly time warped back to completely leaking through in front of my father-in-law, and of the times that I wouldn’t leave the house without TWO nursing pads stuffed in each side!!!
Kerri- Why, oh why, has no one invented nursing pads that minimize the breast? If they can do everything in bra-science that they do, surely they can help us too…
