I think I’ve reduced some of Santa’s nice and naughty list sorting. Of course, I have only been working on the nice side of things.
At the beginning of the month, I asked you to tell me what you care about. I asked you to shout out what you do when you choose to do the right thing. And did you ever tell me. Here is the final list of all the entries you wrote for the Generous December Group Writing Project, the charities you love and the causes you support:
From Part One:
1. Hankering for Yarn for the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
2. SuperNanny Rules for 1-800-Save-A-Pet.

34. Breastfeeding 1-2-3 for the La Leche League.
35. Job Mob on the Israempoy job board.
Obviously, since this isn’t a “random contest” I need some extra time to read, research and reflect on all the issues you have raised, the stories you have shared and the operations of the charities you support. I’ll get back to you by the end of the day, Central European time to let you know which entry I’m putting my money on. EDIT: The results are in!

Hate to be you right now. So many amazing idea and ways to help. It would be hard to choose. This has been such a great idea Kate. Good work putting this all together.
Kate,
Thank you for hosting this group writing project to get us all to think about helping others. This is an amazing list that I’m sure will open eyes to the many needs and opportunities to help. As Jennifer said, selecting one from all these will be a big challenge.
What a great list of charities! Hopefully we’ll all remember to support them year-round.
Thanks for hosting this terrific project!
Kate, you have brought me so much joy through this wonderful project. Thank you, thank you!
I hope we can expand on this and make it an annual event!
