The Postpartum Hubsband

May 1, 2007 by kate baggott

When a woman is suffering for postpartum depression, one of the things she needs most is a partner who will stand up for her needs when she cannot do it herself. In past, I’ve made some suggestions about how this care and concern might look. However, just because I have a husband, doesn’t mean I know anything about what makes them tick.

Author Karen Kleiman has a better idea. She wrote The Postpartum Husband to offer new fathers practical tips and suggestions for how to live with and support someone with PPD.
