[...] And, apparently, she also has a story featured in Chicken Soup for the Dieter’s Soul: Inspiration and Humor to Help You Over the Hump. I haven’t seen Kate’s submission yet, but I’m guessing that at least parts of it fall in the “humor” category. I will definitely be getting this book! Partly because I think there will be lots of stories that I can relate to, and partly because it will be so fun to have a book with Kate’s writing in it! I wonder if I can get it autographed.
[...] St. Valentine’s Day is in 12 days. If you are like me, you will be greeted at the end of the work day with a bottle of wine and a bundle of grocery store flowers with the 1.99 price tag still attached. Still, marriage is not about presents or recognition. Not even when you move to another continent to help someone live his dream, not even when you give him two children and get up with one or both of them every night while he sleeps even though both of you have to work in the morning. But, that, is beside the point. I am making reading this blog about presents. Well, one present for one reader. Leave a comment on any new post written between February 2 and 14th 2007 and I will reward the most thoughtful, helpful comment with a copy of Chicken Soup for the Dieter’s Soul in which my essay “My Last Twenty Pounds” appears. The recipient of the gift will be announced on 15 February. Can you feel the love? [...]

[...] It seems that losing weight is on nearly everyone’s New Years Resolution list. I know it’s on mine, unfortunately every year it seems. A fellow blogger has gotten an essay published in the latest Chicken Soup book. This one is Chicken Soup for the Dieters Soul. The essayist is Kate Bogget from the blog Babylune which I’ve mentioned before. She’s got some great stuff on her blog aimed at new mothers and their health, as well as some good family tips. Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. [...]
