The only problem….her daughter was dead and not by some stranger.  Her daughter had been missing already a month before she called.   This mother would take America and the rest of the world on a hunt for her daughter, while the entire time she was only a few streets away from her grandparents house. She did it! However, even with all the findings she still waits trial. Here’s a few updates on the case since January. Casey of course still claims she is innocent and never killed her daughter. But would she really confess with the death penalty hovering over her. No way.  For those that don’t remember, little Caylee’s body was found in a bag inside a swampy area only a few blocks from grandma and grandpa’s house. Her mouth was covered with duct tape.  To this date there is still no statement on how the little girl died or if she was alive before being shoved in the bag. Here’s the Grandma’s 911 call from CNN:

“I need to find her,” Cindy Anthony continued. “I told you my daughter was missing for a month. I just found her today, but I can’t find my granddaughter. She just admitted to me that she’s been trying to find her herself. There’s something wrong. I found my daughter’s car today, and it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car.”

Casey Anthony is also being charged in the check fraud case, however at the moment her lawyers are trying to delay that hearing due to the murder case still being on the table. But new rumors are now surfacing that she paid that debt for the check fraud.  The Examiner is stating:

Two of Casey’s attorneys, Jose Baez and Dr. Andrea Lyon argue the defense cannot afford to waste time on a fraud case with the death penalty hanging over their client’s head. They also argue there will be no harm in delaying the fraud case because Amy has already been compensated for her losses by her bank and Baez’s firm has reimbursed the bank with what is reported to be more than $600.

Baez has also put a motion out to silence any statements by Leonard and his team as far as evidence. My guess is she told them something and it could be very damaging. I certainly hope the judge doesn’t agree to this and allows Padilla a voice. It also seems that they have been able to make the video of her in jail on the day she found out her daughter had been found not available for court viewing. I remember this and some say she barely reacted and only got mad and wanted to talk with her mom. I believe she knew all along and when she heard it was the bag she knew she was done for. I want to know one thing though, did they ever make her see her daughter’s remains? If so did she react at all? Something tells me even if she did she wouldn’t have responded. The biggest news seems to be that the murder trial has yet again been postponed and this time until January 2010. Could it be because they are trying to find a fair jury that has yet to know about the case? Or is her team trying to come up with more strategies? All I know is this seems to be taking forever, I’m guessing it didn’t take this long to torture and murder poor Caylee Anthony.  What do you think should happen to her?

wearing her wedding ring, now this isn’t weird at all since many times women love to keep their bands regardless. (hey a woman loves her diamonds) However it seems to be Jon giving people questions now, on Friday he was spotted actually not wearing his wedding ring. Course she did tell People Magazine in an interview that taking off her wedding ring would upset the children too much, so she could be keeping it on for them. But isn’t that false hope if they are headed for divorce?

Oh wait, if you look close enough in this picture at Just Jared, you’ll notice he is actually wearing his band but not on his left hand. That’s right, Jon has the wedding ring off the marriage hand and on the other.

When should one take their wedding rings off their hand? Before or after the divorce?

Everyone felt horrible for this pregnant woman, only problem is she lied. Yes, she actually lied about this terminally ill baby. In fact there was no baby. The blog was called, “April’s Mom” and it is no longer active because once she came clean bloggers took action.

This woman, Beccah Beushausen, was also a social worker, who should know better than to say such stories. Bloggers became outraged and demanded to know exactly who this blogger was, unfortunately no “crime” was commited so nothing will happen.

This newborn was left, by herself in the middle of a bed with umbilical cord attached, blood everywhere and not a single person in the room. The story gets worse too, before giving birth she actually had oral sex with a guy the night before and right before that smoked cocaine before that. Later she gave birth, the crying of the baby is why the police were called.

Anderson and a “John” met in a West Springfield motel room. “There the defendant smoked crack cocaine, not with the John, but by herself. She then had oral sex twice with the John.

She got spooked though when she knew the police would come because she has a warrant out for her arrest. So that’s when she hid in the hotel room next door and waited.

“The person in the adjacent room heard the child crying. West Springfield police were alerted, they saw a child lying in the bed with the umbilical cord and placenta on the sheets.”

Anderson has been charged with infant abandonment and reckless endangerment. But Anderson’s court-appointed attorney, Stephen Newman, says the facts are being misconstrued. He says she hid in a motel room next door until she knew the baby was safe. He says someone was always with the baby. “She was in the area at all times, someone was in the area at all times,” said Newman.

“She said she could hear the baby was fine, could hear the police say they were taking her to Baystate Medical so she knew the baby was being cared for,” said Newman.

What do you think of all this? I do believe she abandoned the baby, she wasn’t in the room and even after the news got the story she wasn’t going forward. What about a father? There’s still no news of him.

sun, unless the pollen gets too bad, it seems a little one is allergic to something in the air. Last weekend we hit up the zoo and discovered Little A just loves the baboons. That’s also where we discovered that he seems to be allergic to something in the air.

Last weekend “UP” came out, for those that haven’t seen it I think your kids will like it. Now it is a bit long but if you see it in 3-D it’ll be worth it. I had my 2-year-old tearing up at two parts, the others couldn’t help but keep watching.

something to laugh about. Thousands (if not millions) die a year due to this type of stuff, no wonder people complained.

The Baby Shaker game is so bad for some that I won’t even post it here, but I will leave a link. (Click Baby Shaker above) The object is to shake your phone, aka the baby as fast as you can to get it to stop crying. There’s even a timer on the top to say how fast you shut the baby up.

Apple iphone and Sikalosoft have both apologized for this game. Here’s what Sikalosoft said on their site:

Yes, the Baby Shaker iPhone app was a bad idea. You should never shake a baby! Even on an Apple iPhone Baby Shaking application. In case you are unaware Baby Shaker was an Apple iPhone application that was greatly lacking in taste. It was approved by Apple for download upon the iPhone. However, it was later taken down because it was a baby shaking video game! While GTA is a video game that pushes the limits, it is still yet to have a baby shaking mini game in it.

Here’s what Apple Spokesperson said:

Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said Thursday that the game was “deeply offensive” and said it should not have been approved for sale. “We sincerely apologize for this mistake,” Kerris said in a statement.

The game has since been removed from the apple store. What did you think of the game? Offensive or are people too sensitive? I think it was definitely offensive.

The crooks in Havelock, NC, decided on April 2nd to walk in and use a baby carrier as their way of stealing. There were two men and one woman involved in this bit, oh and one carseat. No one has stated if there was really a baby in the carseat or not or if it was empty. But Walmart has discovered that two blue ray DVD players and a GPS machine were taken out of their packages and stolen. The packages were left empty in other areas of the store.

It sounds like the carseat had a blanket over it, many employees won’t think of uncovering a blanket when a parent is involved in fear of waking the baby. By using this ploy they could’ve easily have hidden the devices inside the carseat with the blankets over the top and walked out. There is footage of the three making several trips to the car and back to Walmart. The car the police are searching for is a black or dark Nissan/Toyota. They are actually at the courthouse today so there should be even more news later on. But for now here’s the latest and if you know of more please leave a comment letting others know.

-  Judge Stan Strickland is the one proceeding over the case and has just refused to meet with Casey’s defense team in private. They wanted to meet with the judge about their strategy for her, they wanted it to be kept a secret. Not to worry though, that didn’t fly. Why didn’t it fly though? Ummm, Jose Baez, Casey’s attorney actually filed the request in the wrong case file. ooops. The judge feels either way there is no basis for this and did not grant it anyways.

-  Casey’s Friend questioned by Jose Baez- Casey’s longtime pal, Kiomarie Cruz was questioned by her attorney about selling her story to the highest bidder. You may recall she sold it to the National Enquirer a while ago. She was scheduled to meet this week. I can’t see how interviewing Kiomarie would ever help Casey’s case now. This is the pal that stated when they were younger they’d go to the woods to bury their dead animals and this was the place they found Caylee Anthony’s body. Maybe they are trying to see if they will be able to make her a non-credible witness. Who knows. If she does do the stand, which of course she will, it’ll only hurt Casey. (works for me)  Course it seems her lawyer (Casey’s) is trying to state that Kiomarie’s story is bogus. I tend to lean more toward Kio since her story seemed to be very accurate and even found a body. He is claiming Casey never wanted to GIVE UP her child and even if she did the grandparents would’ve taken little Caylee. I guess this would make one ask, “Okay so why didn’t they? Why was she murdered by her mother?”

-  A ton of other key players in the case will be interviewed throughout the week by Jose Baez. Some of those players are jail officers, the investigators and a few others.

-  It seems no one is allowed to visit Casey Anthony at the moment. There were rumors that there was going to be a funeral with just the family so they could mourn Caylee together, but that’s just a rumor according to the corrections department.

“The Orange County Corrections Department has received no requests and has no plans related to any ‘in-person family visit’ with Casey Marie Anthony. Our agency has no intention of providing any special treatment for inmate Anthony or any inmate in our custody.”

-  RUMOR: Casey Anthony on twitter. This was not true, according to the jail they are NOT allowed to use cell phones, internet, etc. This is kind of funny seeing that someone thought she was on the net reading all the stuff about herself.

“1. Inmates are not allowed access to the Internet or cellular phones.

“2. Attorneys cannot bring mobile phones into the jail.

“3. While an attorney is allowed to bring a laptop into the jail with an air card, inmate clients are not allowed to use it or touch it.”

-  Lee Anthony did get a paternity test, so guess I wasn’t the only one curious. The test proved he is NOT the father of Casey, his sister’s, baby.

-  Around the 18th the State announced the subpoena list that will be used in the Casey Anthony trial. Some of those names are: Cindy & George Anthony (her parents), Lee Anthony (her brother), Tony Lazarro (ex-boyfriend), Zenaid Fernandez Gonzalez (is there actually a babysitter), Shirley Plesea (her grandmother), Kiomarie Cruz (her BFF), Brian Burner (neighbor), Employees that worked at Mount Dora nursing home and many others.

-  Lot for sale where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found. I don’t blame the people I wouldn’t want it either after someone finding this precious little girl on it. The bounty hunter, Leonard Padilla is rumored to want to purchase the land. He has offered $50,000 for the land.

She changed into nurses’ clothes, lifted a baby from his mother’s arms then a few minutes later walked out with the child hidden in a bag.

Just to give you all a name to the two babies that passed away: Anthony Malinconico, 7 days old, and La’ziea Skinner, 21 days old.

Here’s what medical people are stating:

Pseudomonas is a largely water-borne pathogen that can attack weakened patients within three or four days of hospitalization. – Dr. Carol J. Baker, a professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He went on to state the following, “A healthy full-term baby, whose immune system is more developed, would have more success fighting a pathogen like Pseudomonas.”

The bacteria, Baker said, is ”among the most lethal” that can infect a weakened infant.

The fact that the three infants were infected with different bacteria strains, Baker said, leads her to believe Miami Children’s is not dealing with an outbreak of the bacteria. If all three were infected with the same strain, she said, it would be more likely the bacteria was spread by a health worker or poorly sterilized equipment.

Baker said: `This is just coincidence, not an epidemic.”
