Abandoned Hotel Baby’s Mother Talks

The mother of the abandoned newborn left in an empty, but blood soaked hotel room is finally speaking out. Before she spoke though a friend said she never did anything wrong, she did what she though was right. Now she is stating she never really left the baby alone, she was

in the room next door listening. Ummm, this does not mean anything. Am I right?
This newborn was left, by herself in the middle of a bed with umbilical cord attached, blood everywhere and not a single person in the room. The story gets worse too, before giving birth she actually had oral sex with a guy the night before and right before that smoked cocaine before that. Later she gave birth, the crying of the baby is why the police were called.
Anderson and a “John” met in a West Springfield motel room. “There the defendant smoked crack cocaine, not with the John, but by herself. She then had oral sex twice with the John.
She got spooked though when she knew the police would come because she has a warrant out for her arrest. So that’s when she hid in the hotel room next door and waited.
“The person in the adjacent room heard the child crying. West Springfield police were alerted, they saw a child lying in the bed with the umbilical cord and placenta on the sheets.”
Anderson has been charged with infant abandonment and reckless endangerment. But Anderson’s court-appointed attorney, Stephen Newman, says the facts are being misconstrued. He says she hid in a motel room next door until she knew the baby was safe. He says someone was always with the baby. “She was in the area at all times, someone was in the area at all times,” said Newman.
“She said she could hear the baby was fine, could hear the police say they were taking her to Baystate Medical so she knew the baby was being cared for,” said Newman.
What do you think of all this? I do believe she abandoned the baby, she wasn’t in the room and even after the news got the story she wasn’t going forward. What about a father? There’s still no news of him.
2nd Baby Dies from Swine Flu

The second baby has died from what is believed to be the swine flu, err H1N1 disease. This is the same flu that a baby boy in Texas died from at the beginning of the announcement. Before this second baby passed away there had been an announcement that there had been 6 deaths in America, the sixth one happened to be an assistant principal, Mitchell Weiner, in New York.

Many people are starting to think, “it’s not going to happen to my family” or “it’s not a big thing.” But now it’s starting to make me think twice, currently we don’t have many cases where I live so I feel a bit safer, but others that have cases all over the place seem to be in danger of catching it if they come out of their homes. In the case of the newest toddler death it seemed to strike suddenly, yesterday morning he got a high fever his mom took him in to the hospital that night, he died an hour later. Now I have no clue how fast this strikes but for this little one it was rapid. The tests won’t come back until later today or tomorrow at which time they’ll announce if it was for sure the swine flue that killed the toddler and not something else.
To make matters worse, my husband came down with a fever and dizziness yesterday. My first thought was the swine flu, it just goes to show even when you try pushing it away it’s always in the mind.
Here’s the list of those that have died: (2 Arizona, 3 Texas, 1 Washington, 2 New York)
- Toddler from Mexico, died in Texas April 27, 2009
- Judy Dominguez Trunnell, pregnant woman (gave birth to a healthy little girl via c-section) May 5, 2009
- had a heart condition (Washington)
- a woman in Arizona with a lung condition died
- Man from Corpus Christi, age 33. (Texas)
- assistant principal Mitchell Wiener (NY)
- 16-month-old toddler, Jonathan Zamora (May 18, 2009) (NY)
- I know I’m missing one here but can’t remember.
Judy’s husband is currently trying to sue the farms in Mexico that started the swine flu. To learn more about the swine flu please check out the CDC page on H1N1 flu.

Nadya Suleman already has her hands full with 14 children, 8 of which are newborns but she still wants to add one more to her household. One more?!? Okay, so it isn’t a baby but she does want to add a pet pig to the mix.

OctoMom Nadya Suleman - Image: Newscom
Apparently the kids have been asking for a few years if they could have a dog, she’s been reluctant and I can understand why. But now after just bringing home the youngest she wants to add something else to the household. My own kids have been asking for a pet for years, every time I “think” about it I look at all the training it will take and decide against it. Maybe because she has nannies she doesn’t have to do all the cleaning babies, spit up on outfits, diaper changings, etc. Who will she hire for the pig?
It isn’t 100% what or if she really will get one, she’s even tossed out there she’s willing to get one of those purse puppies. You know the Pomeranian or tea cup pups. I think she looks at is if they are tiny they won’t get in the way, but with 14 kids the pup/pig might get stomped on.
What do you think? Should she wait for a pet?

A woman tried selling her 5-month-old-baby for $10,000 in order to get herself an apartment. The 19-year-old mother tried saying she never bonded and needed the money and offered to give her son away to Leigh

Burr for $10,000. It does state that Burr once asked Taylor if she’d be a surrogate mother for her but it seems that never happened and once the baby was born she (19-year-old, Rebecca Sue Taylor) asked her to buy her baby.
So far there isn’t much information in regards to the relationship between Burr and Taylor, who the father is or even the financial status of the 19-year-old. The baby however is in state custody. Her preliminary hearing is set for this Thursday.

Police are on the hunt for three men that went into a Better Value supermarket in Lisbon, Connecticut to steal baby food earlier this week. All the news is stating is that three men, all of which had goatees stole baby food. They aren’t commenting on how much was stolen or even what brand, just that they stole baby food.

IMG: Scx.hu
It is pretty obvious that they went in to steal the food, they even had their normal license plate covered by a towel and a temporary one made of cardboard. They had no intentions on ever getting caught, however someone did spot them. Police are now searching for 3 males, two of which they know are white and the third they say might be Hispanic. Police are on the look out for a light blue Honda Civic.
If you see these three men or the vehicle you can contact the local authorities in your area.

Crooks Use Carseat at Wal-Mart
April 6, 2009 by Eliza Ferree

Walmart has once again been the victim of a crime, larceny. Just how did this happen? Sure, we all think okay so someone walked out with a roll of toilet paper or stole some gum. This is not the case with these baby crooks, they resorted to using carseats to confuse the alarm.

Walmart.com
The crooks in Havelock, NC, decided on April 2nd to walk in and use a baby carrier as their way of stealing. There were two men and one woman involved in this bit, oh and one carseat. No one has stated if there was really a baby in the carseat or not or if it was empty. But Walmart has discovered that two blue ray DVD players and a GPS machine were taken out of their packages and stolen. The packages were left empty in other areas of the store.
It sounds like the carseat had a blanket over it, many employees won’t think of uncovering a blanket when a parent is involved in fear of waking the baby. By using this ploy they could’ve easily have hidden the devices inside the carseat with the blankets over the top and walked out. There is footage of the three making several trips to the car and back to Walmart. The car the police are searching for is a black or dark Nissan/Toyota. Call 447-3212 or www.havelocknc.us if you have any tips.
