The tiny little baby has been name Oliviyanna, her other two siblings are: Oriyanna and Tayvanna and together they weighed less than 4 pounds.

Dad, 16-year-old Robert Page was too scared to hold them when he first saw them because they were so tiny. I think all parents feel like this but I can’t picture a baby that tiny. Today, she weighs a whopping 3lbs 2oz. I know this is a touchy time for these tiny three but Congratulations to the parents.

The divorce papers were signed yesterday and Jon was even banned from making any money on television. Curious as to how he will make the child support payments if he can’t be on tv…maybe he’ll sell his face.

The big question however should be how are the kids coping with this new adjustment, their entire world has been flipped upside down and right side up. Truth is they probably hated the cameras in their face all the time, but  to them these people would’ve been like their family. These are faces they saw every day and suddenly they went away. According to an interview Kate recently did she finally came clean with them and told them their show had been canceled and that the kids cried the entire way home from school. I think this would’ve been the hardest part, they never even got to say goodbye, these kids have known these crew members since they were babies. Hopefully they’ll adjust quickly to all this.

c-section had to be done and the baby girl was born 3 months early. With all that being stated the baby is in stable condition and mom is still recovering.

So far it has been kind of hush-hush and we got to hear of the birth and that mom and baby were recovering, however new news has come out. Doctors sound worried that if Michelle Duggar had anymore pregnancies many things could go wrong.

Doc. Harper told ABCNews of the following issues:

-  The more children you have, the more likely the placenta will implant in an inopportune place such as over the cervix (placenta previa). “You run the risk of developing problems with the placenta attachment,” Harper said. 

-  stretches the mother’s pelvic muscles and ligaments, sometimes to the point of causing uncomfortable or embarrassing problems.

-  Moms who’ve had multiple pregnancies usually have short labors. 

- ”The abdominal wall will lose all tone, causing intestinal hernias as well as putting intestines at risk for volvulus [a bowel twisted in a loop],” 

I must agree with the second one, while I’ve only given birth to four I have experienced a quicker birth with each child and I deliver pizzas. (30 minutes or less)

Of course there is always the risk of death or bleeding. Some doctors believe it isn’t how many kids a woman has but the age at which she has them. It is believed that babies will be born with genetic abnormalities such as down syndrome. With all this in mind and the loss of life to a mother of 19 children, do you think she should have more kids?

Do you think she’ll do any operations that would prevent her from getting pregnant in the future? Or will she risk it? Honestly I hope she tries to prevent it, I’d hate to see this kill her or hurt her family.

A week ago Gisele Bundchen, the newlywed wife of Tom Brady, gave birth to the couples first child. While Tom may have already had a son and knew what to expect they still weren’t 100% sure of the name, well at least Gisele wasn’t.

Here’s what happened with Tom Brady and Gisele:

“It’s kind of back to the drawing board,” Brady, 32, said in an interview on WEEI Sports Radio. “We thought we had a name picked out for about six months and then about two days before he was born she said, ‘I don’t like that name anymore.’” 

According to People magazine, they did have a name picked out but as we all know once that baby is born the name may no longer fit.  So lets come up with a few ways to pick out some names, whether names have already been picked and just not decided on or not picked out at all.

Ideas for Baby Names:

-  Get a book: grab a baby naming book and thumb through names, you can go with the most popular, least popular or even the one that has a special meaning to you. Some have been known to name their children from the places they are conceived or born at: Dakota, Orlando, etc.

-  Let Your child decide: This one only works if you have a child before this current one is born. Ask them their pick on names and hope they pick something that is a real name and not just a sound.

-  Let Your Readers pick it: Believe it or not I have seen bloggers ask their readers to name their child and then as the due date gets clotser they begin voting from the top names.

-  Family tree: Shake the family tree and see which names fall out. Many times a family member would love to have a child named after them. I know I named my daughter after my grandmother, she was very touched. It is normally the men that get a child named after them, not always the woman.

-  Nickname: Pick a name that has a fun nickname, or do just the opposite and pick a name that does NOT have a nickname. My husband hates nicknames and named our children (or so he thought) names that didn’t have nicknames.

Games for the Final Decision:

-  Draw names: If both of you are at a stand still you cna toss all the names ya’ll like in a bowl and have mom (or dad) pull a name out for the first name.

-  Compromise: You can let mom or dad decide this child’s name as long as the other gets to name the next child. Or you could compromise and let one choose the first name and the other choose the middle name.

What type of delivery did mom have? If mom had a regular birth with no tears it may not be as uncomfortable going home. Mom may want to still take it easy though since it does make you slightly off-balanced once you’ve delivered a baby and no longer have that extra weight. Find out from “MOM” what she wants and how she feels.

If mom tore during delivery she may be a bit sore, especially if she had to get stitches. You would not believe the pain down there after giving birth and ripping open. The stitches sometimes get snagged on the clothing and it makes it very hard to use the restroom. Mom might need the following items:

- tucks (these will relieve the pain and help for hemorroids)
-  lots of rest and NO jumping around, you’ll pull those stitches)

If mom had a c-section there is an entire list of at home care, most of the time the doctor will give it to you before leaving the hospital. Make sure to follow it to the “t.”

Finally, make sure mom gets enough sleep and nutrition. Even if mom says she isn’t hungry she just gave birth and carried a child for 9-10 months in her body, she needs food. Also make sure mom has plenty of water and isn’t stressed. If mom says she would prefer no visitors for the first week, let her have the time alone. She may be trying to adjust or not want to stress over cleaning the house.

I hope this helps those that have a mom coming home from the hospital, she needs care too.

Whether he was premature or right on time one thing is for certain and that’s the fact that he was definitely not stopping, even though the plane was headed to Salt Lake City, they had to do a detour to Denver instead.

The Examiner reports:
A passenger who was eight months pregnant was seated in the row in front of Dr. John Saran, an internal medicine specialist working at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. The good doctor hadn’t delivered a baby since medical school 30 years earlier. In fact, he was dozing off, probably dreaming about his family’s ski holiday in Utah, when he was shaken awake by his wife, who had heard the pilot ask if there was a doctor on the flight. He remembers her saying frantically, “John, wake up, wake up, you’ve got to help deliver this baby!” It wasn’t a dream.

According to news reports it  took about 15 minutes, the family was in the back of the plane with mom laying on the floor. There were actually two nurses and a doctor on board, I’m unsure whether they were part of the staff or just passengers, either way she was very lucky to have them all there. Since deliveries don’t normally happen on airlines they weren’t entirely prepared, when the baby was born someone took their shoelace out to help tie the umbilical cord off. Once the plane landed they were met by an ambulance where it took mom and baby immediately to the hospital.

TIPS: For those that may not know, most doctors (if not all) will advise you not to board a plane in between 32-40 weeks.

Believe it or not this is actually baby number three for the happy couple and the others weren’t as big, however he was the first boy. Do you think it mattered that he was the first boy?

According to news reports, Wendi actually weighed a little more than 10lbs at her own birth so maybe it has something to do with her birth rate. Not sure, it states the doctors actually had to break her shoulders at birth to get her out. OUCH.

Axel’s mother and father, Wendi and Michael Dolton of Rochester, Minn., told the TODAY Show this weekend that they knew their infant would be big, at least 12 pounds, but they weren’t expecting the baby to weigh in at 15 lbs.

Wendi Dolton says she too was a big baby, and weighed more than 10 lbs. at birth. She said doctors had to break her shoulders to deliver her.

Axel is the Dolton’s third child and their first boy.

The baby just wanted to have a very special day for her birth, the little girl was born right there during all the festivities. Grandma was running back and forth to help her daughter give birth and make sure her turkey didn’t burn. I thought that was cute because I remember all too well trying to make a nice Thanksgiving meal and dealing with four kids. I can’t even picture what it would’ve been like to actually have someone in the house about to give birth and knowing you may have to deliver if the amublance doesn’t get there fast. Grandma had called 9-1-1 however the dispatcher had to walk her through the process. The baby girl was born before they got there.

Hopefully this mommy got a bit of turkey before being taken to the hospital. Congratulations to Africa, hope you and your baby are doing just fine.
