The triplets were born at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh this past Wednesday (not today).

The triplets were actually born at 33 weeks because mom, Amanda Faher, developed pre-eclampsia and this was safer. It isn’t uncommon that a woman delivers multiples sooner than the due date, normally due to the space.  I believe she actually went pretty far, close to the actual birth date than most.

The triplets are all boys, the names are: Matthew Aaron, Nathan Brady and Michael Christopher. I love theses names, I wonder if they plan on getting pregnant again, who knows they could end up with all girls.  The doctor that delivered the babies said that delivering all of them as identical is a one in a million shot.

She even has two different birth dates for her babies.

Julia and Todd Grovenburg believe they are what doctos call a rare phenomenon, the actual term being used to describe Julia’s pregnancy is… superfetation. According to WordNet.com the definition is:

Superfetation: fertilization of a second ovum after a pregnancy has begun; results in two fetuses of different ages in the uterus at the same time

This obviously shows that the word came from something, which to me means yes it does happen. Currently some experts are doubting Julia Grovenburg is pregnant with two babies with two different dates, instead they believe it is twins growing at different rates. Wouldn’t it be hilarious to show them they were wrong? The babies in question are two weeks apart, one will be due at the end of December while the other is due at the beginning of the new year. Could this cause problems for baby #2? My guess is yes if they aren’t prepared but I think they are. Keep in mind many multiple births go earlier than schedule which could make baby #2 a preemie.

If Julia is pregnant with two pregnancies this would not make the first time, actually there were two families that had this very thing in 2007. Ame and Lia Herrity and the second family had Harriet and Thomas Mullineux. Ame and Lia were only born minutes apart, unlike their birth dates which were actually 3 weeks apart. Thomas and Harriet Mullineux were conceived three weeks apart and only born one minute after the other. Congrats goes out to Todd and Julia!

consists of the two parents and 18 children, all these children are natural births…not one was adopted. Each year it seems the “Duggar’s” have another announcement and this year has definitely been a year of announcements.

Duggar Family Announcements:

-Josh Duggar (one of the older children) went and got married
-Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife has announced she’s pregnant. This will be the very first Duggar grandchild.

Now we hear the Duggar’s Reality Show will be changing the name. Why? Michelle Duggar is once again pregnant, this time with baby number 19. I’m guessing this is just one of those ladies that have the super easy pregnancies. You are one lucky lady. By the way this family is also known because of the amount of children, but also because they are debt-free and own their own home. The home that they built by the way, as a family.

Of course many will be waiting and watching with anticipation to see just how this family does it. But not only will they be welcoming another Duggar baby but a grandchild a few months prior. I know from just being pregnant and being around pregnant women, sometimes the green ugly pops up. Will Anna be okay with sharing the spotlight with her new mother-in-law?

For those of you curious as to how she found out, here’s what she told People magazine:

“I was wanting pickles and the older girls were saying, ‘Mom, you only crave these at the very beginning of being pregnant, You kept it from us before, now tell us. Are you?’” Michelle says. “And I kept telling them I wasn’t. I just wanted some pickles.”

But when she couldn’t lose weight on her diet, she became suspicious.

“I was in Weight Watchers with Jim Bob and I wasn’t losing any weight,” she says. “I couldn’t figure it out. I was doing what I should. And the baby, who was nursing, was fussy. I kept thinking, ‘This isn’t right. She isn’t teething, she doesn’t have an ear infection. I’m not cheating on my diet, I should be losing weight.’ Then, I put two and two together and wondered if I could possibly be pregnant.” 

I can think back on my own and figure out when I first realized, like Michelle, not were that noticeable to me, however others caught on immediately. Do you remember some cravings you had? Or your wife/girlfriend/sister/mom?

Now that we know she is going to have baby number 19, how long do you think until they reach 20? The last baby was born in December 2008, all the Duggar children begin with a “J” name. I wonder what this one will be. Can you think of any? Here’s the names so far:

The doctors believe that while it would be almost impossible for a woman to get pregnant and have all twelve babies it could happen. But they also believe that this woman may also be experiencing some mental disorder. It is also possible that because she wanted to become pregnant so badly that her mind and body caused something called a phantom pregnancy, which would explain why she may look or feel pregnant. Keep in mind the mind is actually a very powerful thing.

Mirror.co.uk News reports:

But after a health ministry probe, a spokesman said: “Her pregnancy appears to be imaginary. She refused an examination and probably wanted to make money.”

The woman’s husband has vanished with her.

Currently the woman has no ultrasound to prove the babies are inside her womb and no doctor is coming forward. So as of right now, it is being believed that this was either a phantom pregnancy or faked.

Looks like Nadya Suleman, aka the Octomom, is still the number one mom to give birth to the most babies.

Currently the soon-to-be-mother of 12 babies, also known as a dozen, is not being named. The father of the tiny ones has been called Marwan, but I’m not sure if this is his real name or not. The couple live in Tunisian oasis town of Gafsa, she is a teacher. They have previously tried to have children, but they resulted in miscarriages and eventually they decided to try with the help of a fertility expert.

FoxNews:

“In the beginning, we thought that my wife would give birth to twins, but more fetuses were discovered,” said the father, named in local reports only as Marwan. “Our joy increased with the growing number.”

It is possible for a woman to get pregnant with 12 babies at once, however many experts say this type of pregnancy would be a very high-risk and need to have constant monitoring for any type of issue that could arise.

As for how the mom is doing, it is being reported that she’s doing just fine. But here’s what Sun had to say:

She was also “looking forward to hugging her six boys and six girls”. The wife had sought help after previously suffering the anguish of several miscarriages.

There is no due date, however I’m sure as time gets closer the news will spread through the internet. It has been announced that she has an even number, 6 boys and 6 girls. Congratulations to this mom and dad to be!

“Due to the custody agreement, Kate couldn’t enter the property,” the source says. “The cops had no choice but to tell Kate she couldn’t go past the gate.”

Distraught and in tears, Kate left and checked in to a nearby hotel.

Since Kate can’t come on to the premises when Jon is there and he when she is there, Kate was asked to leave and not to pass the gate. While I may not like Kate, I think this would be the hardest thing about the split. There’s obviously a reason Kate does not like the caretaker, however there is nothing she can do except wait until the next court date. Any thoughts on this?

Mike Darnells states this about the upcoming special:

“It really shows the surrealness of what she’s experiencing, right from the point of bringing the first two babies home to a 1,400-square-foot home. We’re inside the car with her. It shows what her relationship is like with her parents, where there’s an enormous amount of conflict. It’s truly surreal. We see eight screaming children on a bed while six others are running around.”

In other Nadya Suleman news, we hear a judge actually appointed a financial guardian over the octuplets. This was definitely a good thing, at least we know that they will always be protected and no harm can ever come to their money. I think this came just at the right time since Nadya had just signed a reality-tv deal that will deal with all of her kids but it’ll probably be more focused on the octuplets.

Just last month one of Nadya’s younger children (not octuplets) got a hold of the older brother’s Volcano kit mixes and actually drank the liquid. Quick thinking the decided no risks and called 9-1-1. The child is safe and there were no explosions in his tummy, but I’m sure she’ll be letting them know they have to keep it out of reach of the little ones. (possibly behind a locked cabinet or door)

Kate decided to make everyone breakfast, she made bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. Back home Jon was following the construction workers around. Kate was giving lots of loving to her kids and they were giving lots of smooching. She comments on Jon not being there and how it felt not to have him there and it was strange because she was making all the decisions. I hate to say this though, when did she NOT make decisions, even when they were together?

Maddie and Cara were doing performances for the TV crew. This cracked me up as they were pretending to be in an ad for a napkin, talking about using the napkin 20 times before throwing it away. hehe.

Kate decided to make some paint, well it is actually pudding, the kids just get to paint with all this pudding and in the end eat it if they feel like it. Last year they used paint and she didn’t want them not doing something because Jon wasn’t there, but she did forget to bring the paintbrushes. What does this mean? Oh, a big mess, kids got to use their hands and even Kate ran around smearing it on everyone. This is one of those things you’d never see Kate doing before this split. Now she did make sure to tell them they couldn’t touch anything and had to have their shoes off before entering the house.

Next up was going to the aquairum on a boat, holding a snake and a few other things. Eeek! Snakes is one thing I could not do so I give a thumbs up to her for this. The oldest girls arrived home while mommy kept the boys and younger siblings. They were so shocked to see daddy wearing errings in both his ears.

Kate was a bit shocked when she found out the snakes were not going to be dead. Instead they were in their glass cages wondering around. That’s when they bring the snake out for the kids to hold and ask mommy to hold it. She did actually do it but she didn’t hold it long. Ikkk. Then she had to go home and see the remodeling. Oops. No, she honestly seemed happy about it, which I didn’t think was possible. What did you think?

Here’s what Kate told People magazine:

“On a good day, I feel relief,” Kate says, curled up in a chair in her living room. “On a bad day, I feel failure.”

Kate told them this on the day the kids were happily making Father’s Day Cards for Jon and drawing hearts all over them. Kate would not seen at the house on Father’s Day by the press.  Here’s what she actually said during the show:

“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” Kate Gosselin said. “While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself.”

Now it wouldn’t be fair to print what Kate said and not Jon, here’s his response according to the:

“I was hurt by the statement Kate made last night about the divorce.

I have always done everything I can to protect our family.  This weekend, I was home with the kids for four days, just being a dad. No nannies, just the kids and me. In fact, with the exception of Aaden’s visit to the doctor, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to spend Father’s Day weekend.”

Does anyone know what his weekend activities were? If she was meaning Father’s Day I thought he was with them? Even the media has pictures of them all together.  Maybe it was over Aaden getting hurt, not sure. Either way it looks as if this is about to become the world’s biggest news story.
