Update: Puppy Kills Baby

There’s been an update on that puppy that killed the 2-month-old baby. First the baby boy’s name was Zane Alen Earles, I think with any death a name should be mentioned so this isn’t just a he or a she but a child. The EMS and on call 91-1 operator that answered the call had to go through a stress debriefing due to the horrible event.
The dog in question was only slightly older than the baby, which means he knew no better. The baby was inside his swing and died sometime between 8:30-10 a.m. The call was made around 10 in the morning.
The father was NOT present when this tragic accident occurred, however there was mom, Linzy and the baby’s grandmother but on the opposite side of the house. Police are still stating this was just an accident and no one is to blame. However the lab was taken to the shelter and euthanized and later examined. When the father came home he was consoled by nearby neighbors.
The investigation is still going on.
