The Mayor, Carolyn Kirk wasn’t 100% sure about the absolute of the pregnancy pact, she is now holding up a meeting to make sure everyone was part of the pact. The principal’s now went back after telling Time Magazine that he can’t recall who told him, the mayor is hoping she will know more after the meeting.
What do you think is going on? Do you think this is a small town that didn’t mind the publicity to grow their town a bit and was shocked by how much and how fast they’d be hit? Did someone start a rumor that the principal of the school overhead?
In my opinion the principal, Josh Sullivan, commented on a trend he saw in his school, Gloucester High. It was so evident that the school nurse resigned as well as another faculty. Teens were popping up pregnant or asking for a second pregnancy test.
Course now rumor has it 8 of those girls are either not pregnant or not part of the pact. I guess we’ll hear more within the next few hours. If these girls really are all pregnant imagine all those tax dollars when they realize they don’t have the support system they thought they did.

Really really…no one cares if there was a “pact” or not. Except of course CNN and other news agencies.
What would anyone do if there was: Not much.
What would anyone do if there wasn’t: Not much.
k. Next story.
Grow their small town cause all parents want to move to there now they know little girls are making pregnancy pacts?
I think this is probably a case of glamorization of pregnancy. It was being called “contagious pregnancy.” It’s the reason they used to kick pregnant girls out of high school or make them take separate classes.
Lots of high school teachers and administration talk about how we raise girls to think being a mother is the best thing ever – it completes us. It’s what truly makes women happy. Then we wonder why girls are so excited to get there.
As far as the “pact” it’s an isolated incident.
