What’s in Kate Gosselin’s Bag?

Some of you may be wondering exactly who Kate Gosselin is and why I’d tell ya what’s in her bag. Am I right? To be honest I’d only heard of the name once before this past week and it wasn’t on tv. In fact, while I was pregnant with my fourth child the doctors made me think I was pregnant with more than one so I began looking up other moms that had been pregnant with multiples. That’s when I found the Gosselin’s, they had two sets of multiples. Oh it wasn’t two sets of twins either, they first had a set of twins and then they had 6.
Now a mother with four you’d think I had everything under control. Ha, this is so not true, I’m constantly running around and trying to make my life a bit easier. Honestly I think it was easier when my youngest, Little A, was not even crawling. It seems once you get use to one stage of their life they are bigger and it is time to move on to the next stage of their little lives.
Well, I was watching a tv show the other day and the Gosselin’s were showing us a look into their already busy lives. Eeek! She actually has a few tips for us busy moms, or at least we think we are busy.
#1. Stay organized. Sounds easy enough right? Wrong! Kate actually has her own emergency kit inside her van, this way she isn’t always repacking her bag every time she wants to leave. Whenever her kit runs low she refills it immediately, this helps in always being prepared. Another item she likes to use to stay on top of things are lists. Yes I know ya’ll hate lists but they really do help. Imagine having to buy enough things for 10 people and only two of which are adults.
#2 Plan ahead. Yes, know where you are going in order to be prepared for the weather and/or how many diapers, wipes, toys, etc you’ll need. No one wants to be out for 4 hours and not have enough diapers. At the same time no one wants to be running to Walmart or something and have a suitcase packed and ready to go. Know what you are doing and how long it’ll be so you can plan accordingly.
actually that is why they are being moderated, I noticed this too. Not to mention they were the exact phrase in the first part of their comment.

No one answered my question. When did J&K move to a “Million Dollar House”? I don’t remember hearing anything about this. Also, ya kinda need to stop hitting on peyton she cleared up her inconsitant answers, she stated that she didn’t live right next door and that it was across the street and that she didn’t “hear” the doorbell but noticed the cops being called. I believe that this website was created for everyone to get their opinions out. Not to just be able to say their opinions and be snapped at.
I’m not snapping, I’m just stating. Thanks.
Oh also, I noticed a comment about the show becoming comercialized. It is kinda…. but truth be told if you were telling someone that…. say your 5 year old likes the wiggles, then a few days later someone offers you tickets for your whole family to the wiggles show wouldn’t you take it? I know I would. I mean Kate is just accepting all the free offers, like when Jon took a few of the kids to the baseball game they got a bunch of free stuff and got to even watch the game from a private skybox, the team owner just wanted some publicity and used the show to get it.

all the shows, games, events and places that invite J&K and the kids
The businesses use Jon and Kate for attention cause they know that they are popular and thet the show is watched alot and if they get J&K to promo their product/services they get free publicity which is why labels are shown on the show now and use to not be.
I actually really like the Gosselins. Also, I loved how it was just tips for organization at first and then a bunch of you b*tches turned into a hate blog. GO GET A LIFE.

Kate is not organized, she lies….If she is so organized, why does Jon have to run back to the house 15 times to get stuff Kate forgot before they can leave the drive-way?
Ashley, They moved into their Million Dollar home back in October I believe.

Also, last week TLC had a promo commercial that showed the parents saying “123… WE’RE MOVING” as they all sat around the kitchen table. Wondering if they will say anything about it on their show tonight.
Because its been thoroughly investigated by at least 3 different blogs and newspapers and magazines. People in the new neighborhood in Wernersville, Pa who have driven by have said they see the family hanging out at the new house etc..
Not everything that the Gosselins do makes the TV. In fact most things they do arent on TV cause TLC/Discovery Channel and their image Consultant and PR person pays to keep things OUT of the news. Like Kates hit and run, The way Kate treats fans, The Mistress Jon had at his job at Harrisburg (the real reason he quit that job)
Oh and just watch out for the REASON the Gosselins give for “having to move”! They will say there was eggs thrown and vandalism at their house which is not true. There were never any complaints filed at the police dept about eggs or vandalism occuring at their home.
Not everything is in the news.
And when did Jon have this so-called affair???

I COMPLETELY agree with “msc” – I used to be a fan of Kate’s…but watching her over the years (mostly because my daughter was born the same month and year as her six and we get a kick out of watching them together); but I have to say every single point msc has made are things I have been thinking (well perhaps minus the “post-nasal drip” comment) and aLSO I think Jon yells at the kids way, way too much…I noticed this, I know moving is stressful, but COME ON…can’t they get someone to help (yeah, as if they did it all themselves, right!) the years ARE truly fleeting, I hope the parents get a wake-up call soon and realize this – quality time, real, true kindness and encouragement and quality time are what is important for your children! (septs off to Kindergarten – soon!) better hurry! There will be resentment towards Hannah…the favortism is SO obvious and truly ALL Of the children are wonderful, beautiful and intelligent.

Kate is exploiting her kids and abusing her husband. I have no kind feelings toward her and I do for the rest of her family. Maddy is a pill and frankly should be allowed to live with her mom and Jon gets the rest of the kids. Maddy is probably going to have many problems in her future life and Mom will be source for many of those troubles. Jon get a divorce and take the kids away from Kate.

I will be happy to re-type my paragraph and put lower-case letters, I only use caps to emphasize a point, did not mean to yell. However, I do not see the “edit” option here.

Regarding the children, I do not see why you would not have any kind words for them, they are completely innocent, including Maddy. Do you really blame her for acting out? It has been clearly stated (even by her) – they were very happy as a “family of four” and then six more showed up who took all of the parents attention.
I feel sorry for Maddy more than anything. She is a beautiful, smart little girl and needs encouragement and love, not condemnation and ridicule. It is tragic to see a child being mis-treated this way and their family dynamic is not natural, it’s no wonder she is having trouble (again, not her fault!)
Mady and Kate are spoiled brats who treat people badly. Look at how she yells and commands her old man, Jon, and the rest of her kids. This couple needs to get real jobs though I would not want Kate as my nurse. Would you want a witch as your caregiver. Mady or however you spell the name is a highly possible future juvenile offender because she is a mean-spirited brat who has no regards for anyone else! Maybe she will her generation’s Casey Anthony. Mady needs serious help and probably an extended stay as well as her mother at the area’s local mental hospital.
As for talking about the capital letters, this is the respected rule of the majority, (99.99%), internet communications. Capital letters are the same as screaming hard core at a person. And being being able to make multiple paragraphs, that is a skill taught in elementary schools. Even Kate’s kids would know how to accomplish, (look up that word), this simple task by second grade.
The show is a loser and I feel mostly for the kids. TLC needs to cancel the show because it is a DUD! Kate and now even Jon are exploiting their kids for their income. Childrens are not put on the earth to make their parents an income. That is called child abuse and the local officials and the state government should investigate Kate especially and Jon too. Kate is not a great mother and her kids would be better off with a new set of parents.
Be made at me for my comments You and I are not that important to the world, dear! If you want to see a good educational show on TLC, then watch “Little People, Big World.” That is a show with class and dignity.
Okay, Delvia, your making fun of people who use caps lock and don’t format paragraphs properly but you can’t spell. Last time I checked “mad” was spelled “m-a-d” not “m-a-d-e” (if you don’t know what I’m talking about look at the first sentence of the 4th paragraph). Also, last time I checked, you only use the word being once, not twice (again if you don’t know what I’m talking about look at sentence 3, paragraph 2). So before you decide to make fun of someone for grammar make sure yours is correct.

I am a huge Gosselin fan. I know live right near them because I live in Berks County. But a couple weeks ago I was not so happy with them. At about 11:00 am I went to a local Dunkin Donuts to grab a quick cup of coffee before getting back to work. As I got out of the car I noticed the man sitting in the car next to me was Jon. His window was down and I couldn’t help but say hi. I didn’t notice until I was standing next to his car (to say hi) that he was SMOKING. He was very polite and I told him how much I loved his book Multiple Blessings and he thanked me. I know smoking was very common but I think if he wants to see his kids get married he should quit smoking.

Did anyone see how Kate turned rather violently on Jon in last week’s show. I was just grateful that Kate had some fun with the kids in painting the walls. Kate, your new medicines and therapists for your OCD are working. There is s new medical device that is transplanted in the brain and it controls your OCD impulses to an acceptable level. Kate’s temper fit was on the show, “The Soup”, where the host told Jon that Octomom was available if he and Kate broke up.
I male bash too but the question that I ask myself now is “what would Kate Gossellin do in this situation that called for cruel satire.” My husband is being treated much nicer these days. Maybe Dr. Phil could help with her anger issues and male bashing problems.
For those of you that are concerned that I made several grammar errors in my one comment, I apologize to all of you. My excuse is that I did not see these items when I was proofreading. The downside of my ADHD is that I do make mistakes with my spelling and sometimes a word choice. My ADHD is vertified by medical tests and doctors too.
At least, I do try to use the correct spelling and make my paragraphs readable. Most of the people in their comments have created a new version of American English and it’s rules. Hey, we are human even the couple of Kate and Jon.
Like many people here, I liked this show when it first aired, but as time went on…Kate has become so self-centered. I would love to see Jon just tell her off big time! Then again they would delete it before it went on air. She is a real bi@#$! Also, Mady is a lot like her.
I recently attended a Kate speaking engagement at a church in Atlanta. My 4 year old son and I love the show. I was very excited about taking him and we made a special night of it while my husband watch my younger twin boys.
Let me tell you how much I regret taking him. Kate was cold and scripted. She sat on a stool for a 1/2 hour and never moved. She wasn’t warm or inspiring. It was uncomfortable. She looked weird, very tan and over-processed. I mention this not to be petty but because she was so very different then on the show. She was just so cold.
Afterwards, she singed books –never looking up. She seemed pre-occupied at how much longer the line was. This wasn’t a group of Kate haters, these were fans. I had no idea that she was so awful in person, I should have read some reviews, which is why I am posting mine. Save your money, also we won’t be watching the show anymore regardless if there is another season or not. She was a let-down.
I think it is extremely sad what has happened to this family…but it is also an interesting “Science Project” of sorts.
Watch the earlier shows and notice how real, human and genuine they all were. I’m sure most of the viewers could relate to them, which is why they were well-liked initially. As time progresses, in the shows, you see Kate’s greediness come out and how they want more and more and more and the more they get the more they want and on and on.
I’m happy to see folks doing well for themselves, however, when the greed and nastiness is just oozing out of them (Kate)…it is hard to be happy for her. She has absolutely no qualms about using her children as pawns to get what SHE wants “this property is all mine….all of it!” as she gazes out the kitchen window. She either doesn’t realize or just doesn’t care how bad she looks saying this!
She’s even mean to the dogs…I even feel sorry for those dogs!
It’s so blatantly obvious how full of herself she has gotten …she was to begin with and they just fed it and fed it until she turned into a complete monster.
I’m sorry to hear what happened at the book signing. Perhaps it is a good lesson for your son – and for all of us – about GREED ruining people.
