My children can go from whispering and snuggling to wrestling in a split second.

  2. Huguette E. says:

My children fight a lot. I cherish the times that they talk to each and get along :)

  3. Lindley says:

No siblings yet, but he and his cousin made up their own little language to communicate with each other and they crack each other up! Thanks!

That is sweet! Just this week I caught my oldest (19) playing with my youngest (2) and it was precious. That was the last precious moment between them for a long time. My oldest shipped out Monday for the Air Force.

  5. Mojo says:

Mine were only 5 years apart, but they had their moments like this. And fought surprisingly little. Nice shot of a nice moment.

AWE! I have two boys but they are closer in age, 15months.

  8. Michelle S says:

Eliza, that’s a lovely shot you caught there. I can definitely see the love.

My girls, it’s very rare to catch them being nice to each other. :( It makes me sad because my sister and I were so close.

  9. Cami says:

I only have one child, 4 months old, but she sure likes her friend in the mirror!

  10. haleyhughes says:

That’s a very sweet photo. Nicely captured. Definitely one to frame and hold on to.

  11. Jen says:

    Cutest picture ever!

  12. loralie says:

Remember those moments on those days when the squabbling drives you nuts :-)

  13. Kelsey Maglicic says:

I have a photo of my three year old holding a book while my year old daughter is sitting at his feet. It looks like he is reading to her and it is so sweet!

  14. Betty Nations says:

My two boys were 4 1/2 years apart and really didn’t argue but also the older didn’t choose to do a lot with the younger. The older son was very outgoing; the younger very quiet. Both were very academic. When the older one went off to college, our younger one won a regional tournament in “Math Counts” as a 7th grader. The state finals were being held on my older son’s campus. My younger son won #1 that year and made an oral presentation. I got a call from my older son…he snuck into the auditorium and stayed in the back because he was afraid his younger brother might be more nervous if he saw him. And he bragged on his “little” brother and how well he had done. There is more “sense of family” sometimes even in children who don’t show a lot of it growing up.

  15. Shoshana says:

I love those moments. Nice capture.

  16. Tabitha says:

When the two oldest (10 & 3) fall asleep together what a peaceful sight, otherwise they almost constantly fight. I also love the sight of the 3yr old wanting to “hold” and try to feed his 2mo old brother.

  17. Susan says:

    That is a sweet pic.

  18. Desiree says:

My two older children are both girls…they always loved to ‘mommy’ my son, who was born after both of them were already in school ;)

  19. jenna says:

Very cute! I’m sure my girls will have their moments when they are old enough that I will cherish the quiet moments!

  20. Kamber says:

I have lived those moments. One minute my sister would be screaming and fighting with me, then she would take me out driving and teach me how. Those were the moments that I remember and cherish.

  21. PlatoonSergeant says:

Yep, they must take after their Father ;p

    (unless they are misbehaving)

  22. Eliza says:

haha, nope that’s when they are YOURS. lol

  23. Bebemiqui says:

i love overhearing the 6 & 4 year old’s conversation while they’re playing in their room.

my 5 and 4 year olds were sitting in the hallway with the abc chart the 5 year old taught the 4 how to say his abc’s by hisself

  26. Noreen says:

my girls don’t fight very often, usually they are very sweet to each other. Today they helped each other with their paintings (they kept falling down)

  27. Jessi A says:

Mine are 3 years apart they play rough but then then the next minute they are playing house.

  28. chris swanson says:

Mine are 1 1/2 yr apart and fight like cats and dogs. But those wonderful moments when they get along warm my heart. I love when they hold hands walking and hug each other pure joy. I hope it continues as they grow older.

  29. My two are still so young, but I melted when my 3 year old said that the 5 month old was his “Bess frien’!” (Best friend!)

  30. Janelle says:

My daughter likes to watch her baby brother while he is sleeping. She is really good about not waking him.

I have two sons. Your picture is very adorable!

So sweet… No kids (yet — one on the way), but I do hope any siblings will be the best of friends!!

  33. Kam A says:

Mine are young, 2 and 4, but I love hearing them say “I love you” to each other in their rooms before they fall asleep :)
