Wordy Wednesday: Graduation

Yesterday I touched on this topic over at Blisstree Parenting. My son, he’s 12 just graduated from the 6th grade yesterday. He’s actually the oldest baby, yes I said baby, I think every mom still looks at each child as one of her babies. Am I right? You can still recall the day you brought them home, those first worrisome nights when you constantly checked to make sure their breathing was normal and they were still with you in the middle of the night. You may not admit it, but there are times, even as they get older that you’ll sneak a peek in their room when you walk through the house late at night.

Here’s my son at his preschool graduation, so many years ago. The memory is very fresh, he even had a painted pot to give to me.

Now check him out, still smiling for his mommy. Course this was done outside the school.  Happy WW!
