Wordy Wednesday: My Tonka Boy

I’m sure as an adult you may remember those yellow metal trucks we’ve come to know as Tonka. Thsoe things went through everything right? The mud, dirt, rain, snow, the house, etc there wasn’t anywhere those trucks wouldn’t go and they left it all up to your imagination. These weren’t the ones today that were automatic or that you pushed a little and they went on their own for a bit, these were those you moved around all by yourself. They were sturdy and big and carried tons of dirt or barbies.

My 2-year-old son loves his metal Tonka truck and for Mother’s Day we went to the park where he got to put dirt in it. Boy did he have fun. Wow, looking at this picture just makes me realize how big he is getting. ::sniff:: sniff:: Happy WW!
