Yes, this is kind of off topic but since I showed ya’ll the lovely blue eggs last week I decided it was time to update you. Actually just sometime yesterday and early this morning the little eggs hatched. Don’t worry I did not touch the precious birds, but I was able to get a quick picture. The kids have been looking at the picture all morning.

Right now there isn’t even noise coming from them, it’s as if they just came out of their little eggs. However, looking at the picture there doesn’t seem to be any eggs. Did momma bird push them out? Are they moving around on top of them? No clue, maybe someone here will know. As you can see we still have one egg left that hasn’t hatched, maybe it will by the end of the day. Happy WW!

So very cute. The blue of the egg is pretty, too.
Awww – they are adorable! The mother bird actually will take the eggs out of the nest and drop them at a distance. It’s a protective instinct, so that predators don’t find the egg shells directly under the nest and go “yum – breakfast!”.
