first child’s 1st slide, he was just about to turn 2 so we got him his own little one. Course it was small enough that we could have it in the house or outside, which made it great when the weather was bad. But I remember he’d just sit on the top of that slide and read books, or pretend to anyways. Today, even though he’s 12 he still goes down but only on the big twisty ones and normally with one of his younger siblings.
Here’s a pic of the youngest going down the slide at the office picnic we went to last week. Doesn’t he look like he’s having a blast? You wouldn’t know a few minutes prior to this he’d fallen down and hurt himself. Happy Wordless Wednesday!

That is a little slide. Cute!
He does look happy, what a difference a few minutes can make in any of our lives!
Sarah had one of those slides – it was yellow, blue, and red, had a little mailbox? I picked it up because she loved to climb everything in sight. I have pictures of her sitting on it and in her Little Tikes car buck-nekkid. Funny girl.
And yes, he looks like he is loving himself some slide!
