If you have ever had a busy day, only to find yourself standing in front of the fridge at 6 p.m. staring at the shelves and waiting for something to jump out at you, you understand the benefit of Once a Month Cooking.

The short explanation is it is a way of cooking in bulk for a week, or a month, or I have even known a few people who cook quarterly!  You shop, make the food, and freeze it all on a weekend, leaving you most nights free of cooking (and cleaning) chores.

Recipes here may not say specifically that they are for once a month cooking but they will all freeze well and fit into your OAMC schedule just fine.

Think of it as being your own personal chef!
