Made these last night – this recipe made over 60 good sized cookies (cookies everywhere!) They were okay in my opinion……….not at all like the real thing. The cookie is more like a cake in this recipe……..maybe too much baking soda or powder?

Oh, what luck to come across this! We are based in Seattle and were just recently acquainted with the mighty Berger. Just posted a love letter to the cookie on the site and put a link to this recipe–I personally can’t wait to try yours! From the top pic, it looks pretty darn close!

I am not going to give you our recipe, but I will tell you that we don’t “ice” our cookies, we simply scoop chocolate out of a bowl with the cookie.
