Blogging with a Purpose

Jen at AEat2Write blessed me with an award.  The Blogging with aPurpose Award is for blogs that are doing something, making a difference.  I am so blessed to think that she feels that way about my blog..LOL!

Now, in accepting this award I have to bestow it on 5 blogs that I think are Blogging with a Purpose.

1.One of the most significant blogsthat I read  is Jennifer and Peggy’s Tree Hugging Family. I know that they make a difference in my life as I am challenged by their ideas and information.  If you need help going green, in small steps and tiny bites then check them out!

2.The world is so full of angst, stress and other stuff sometimes we forget that simple manners and a gracious welcome turns our home into a refuge. I have enjoyed the past ten weeks of Gracious Hospitality’s blogathon.  She reminds us to slow down and create beauty where ever we are..and I think that is worthwhile.

3. April from Abby Sweets.  She is ever the encourager. Her entire blog is  riddled with links ot other blogs, nice comments about other blogs and just encouraging things!

4. Kevin of Closet Cooking.  His images are amazing! He just inspires people to try new things.

5.Courtney of Coco Cooks. She does so many things behind the scenes that you might not realize it unless you are a member of one the the groups she is also a member of, like Daring Bakers. She is encouraging, kind, and an awesome cook.

SO, now I shall place my award in my display case where it can be admired.
