That is odd…they come out almost cakey for me…I have some badly done pictures but I will post them to show the texture.
Was there anything you substituted?

I just baked the 1st batch of Holly Hermits. They are flat, thin and crispy. I came back to see if I had done something wrong. No followed directions perfectly. I thought that they would be chewy and moist.

These sound wonderful – especially with the substitution of the dried cranberries. I love dried cranberries in just about anything. Last year I made several batches of cookies and froze them before Christmas, and I may have to add these this year.
