This is such a great idea! I plan on making the cookies the day before. Then on Sunday we will make another batch with the kids put them in the oven and let them “seal the tomb” and then I will have a helper lead them out the back door on a little walk around the church. Then when they come back in I can take the cookies out of the oven that I switched while they were on their walk! He is Risen!

Does anyone know how many cookies one recipe makes? I have a large Sunday School class, and want enough for everyone to have one.

Jalaina I dont think it will owrk because it needs at least 8 hours. BUT you can make a batch of them ahead…then make them with your class up to the point of putting them in the oven. That is what I did and it worked well.

Can anyone tell me how long (in hours) does it need to stay in the oven? I was hoping to prepare the cookies w/my Sunday school class and open the oven after church service was over.

I would think that the fan is your culprit! I don;t know how you would ocmbat that.
