June 11 View From My Window!!!

When this theme day came up I wondered…Which window? What view? What can I say or do that is interesting?
I still have no clue. This house has alot of windows. My office has two windows but my they are behind my built in desk and to the sides. Everywhere you look here there are trees. Nearly any view you choose will show the huge pecan trees we named our little farm after…Pecan Knoll Farm.
My favorite view is any window that the kids are playing outside of. I like to hear their voices while they play and chat with eachother.
There have been many windows with many views in my life. I loved my AUnt’s kitchen window. It was over the sink and looked out on the pasture. I loved to watch the cows in the summer.
Then there was Marc and my first home in Monterey California. It was an old foursquare house that had been made into a fourplex. We had living room windows that looked out over the bay.
The view from my window when we lived in San Angelo Texas was the buttes to the west. It was wonderful to watch the west Texas sunsets over those amazing formations.
In the years to come there will be other views and other windows. To me the best views will always be the ones that allow me to see Marc turning in the driveway when it is time for him to come home. Whether my view looks out on a city tenement building, or an ocean..whether it is pastoral or urban as long as it includes my family it will be my favorite view.
