Letting Off Steam, and I Am Not Making Lobster

I have a number of children. I have eight children, a son in law, and two grandchildren. They are all perfect (of course) and well behaved (of course) but just living with that many kids, and being married for over half my life, I have had patience forced upon me.
Not much ticks me off. Hardly anything. Mess with one of my kids and I will probably scar you for life…other than that, I’m good.
Almost. Once in awhile I find that someone has been stealing the content from my pages. Eww. I don’t mean just using a recipe and saying, hey, I got this from Marye, nope…I am talking about someone taking an entire page of text, pictures, and content and posting it as their own. Blah. Nasty. Notice the pictures are copyrighted by Marye Audet?
I hate seeing pictures of my kids, or my food on some slimy blog with half naked women on it…hot pink and black is just tacky and I would never choose those colors as my own…
so….

Just to give you all a laugh..the website that was stealing my content posted this post completely. Marc adn I decided it was a bit like getting someone to put a “kick me because I am an idiot” sign on their own back.
I love when spambots posts posts about how they suck – it always cheers me a bit. Plus, I thought you were all about pink and black – not half naked women though, but about the colors, you’re going to have to make a choice.
Well that really bites. How did you find out about it?
Marye, that just plain old sucks (I had to go and search out the culprit and just can’t believe it!)
Have you thought about putting bakingdelights.com on your photos also, or instead of your name? It would show exactly where they are from then.

Ah..it happens and actually it is kinda cool because it means that I am doing well enough to get noticed.
I had thought about that with the photos but sometimes I use them on other things that I write and so I prefer to use my name…maybe add an auxillary email just for the photos…
Pink and black..I do like the combo but not on a sleazy website….I like it as the colors for a carebears house I plan on featuring in a horror flick, Nightmare in Care-Alot
You should totally put a footnote at the bottom of EVERY post… if you’re not reading this at bakingdelights.com then this is stolen content… or some such thing.
